This is not from '81, but it's the oldest one I have scanned right now. This is me in 1989 - it was the night I got to meet a couple of members of Bad English, but will leave that part out.

Shania/Laura you're attractive - you remind me of someone famous but I can't think who...and your 'fro looked good. I, too have naturally curly hair & unfortunately had a very brief 'fro in '78 - not my idea. It was when I had all my long hair cut off (what a mistake - I cried after)...I was staying at my sister's and her husband said to her, "do her hair" - well, this was the era when everyone was getting a perm & 'fro, even the guys (remember the Brady Bunch men?)...I didn't know what she was doing to my hair & I didn't suspect a 'fro, although she now was sporting one, until I looked in the mirror & burst into tears...I looked too much like a dandelion gone to seed. People think that having naturally curly hair is great, but there really is no other hairstyle you can have, 'fro or long, that's it...and I used to literally iron my hair in the early 70s - lie my head on the board & have my sister iron it flat....that was when "no frizz or curly" was the rule.

I know Moon. I don't post Kristen's pics outside of my own site, but my daughter and I do resemble each other.
