Gotta love a league where 85% of the players are felons, show zero respect to the game, and recently have on record, a couple teams admitting they "tanked games." Such great character.

Hey, if you dig it, your loss.

NBA Hoops...I'd rather watch women's bowling or croquet.

It's a bunch of whiny bitches running around, screaming "foul" then missing foul shots, then faking injuries, doing blow in the lockerroom, and beating their wives and collecting huge amounts of jack...even the NBA's chief announcer was busted for wearing a garter belt and biting some lady in the back as she ripped his rug off his dome.

NICE LEAGUE.

ESPN, Jim Rome, etc. It's true, trust me. This league is baffoonery.

Though I hate the NBA, I do follow it casually. I'm gonna REALLY go out on a limb and say that the Heat repeat. I know, I know......crazy. For the record, the only 2 sports I get into and give a shit about are baseball and football.

I haven't watched or cared about the NBA since Jordan left. I am 100% an NFL and NCAA football fan.

Jim Rome what a joke he is. What is etc.? If the league is baffoonery has you say why is the Palace here in Detroit sold out for every game? So 85% of the pistons are felons. Come on Deano give facts before stating this league is "shit". Every professional league has there problems.

Me too, NIG. I gave up after Michael's SECOND retirement- the league is pretty much unwatchable during the regular season, though I do enjoy the playoffs somewhat.
BTW- as much as I dig the NFL...uhmmm....there are just a FEW flons in that league, too.

I'm not anywhere near as much of an NBA fan as I used to be, mostly for many of the reasons that Deano listed. I still watch occasionally, but it just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Anyway...I'd like to see the Mavericks win it but I don't want to bet against San Antonio.

I used to watch NBA but I just really lost interest at some point. The Rockets lost to the Jazz in '97 because of that FUCKING Miracle 3 POINTER by Stockton. Fucking Stockton. That was the last time I ever really cared about basketball. Well...NBA anyway. NCAA,on the other hand, with Texas A&M getting to the sweet 16 this year?? That was awesome. WHOOOOOP. :-)

Seconding that! :D I'm also one of those guys that lost interest after Jordan (still kinda had a vague awareness while Stockton and Malone were there too), but the team has been kinda impressing me again, though I do wish Kirilenko would eat a meal every once in awhile and stop breaking/spraining something during what seems to be EVERY DAMN GAME!!! :x
