Sounds like you're describing Little Girl.

I'd like to see a full CD of Frontiers-era writing style, including songs like Ask the Lonely and Only the Young. I just don't think the songwriting was as fully developed before Cain joined the band, but at the same time, I don't think Cain has a whole lot of tricks left up his sleeve as far as ballads go. Trial By Fire really laid the ballads on thick (and songs like WYLAW and Still She Cries don't qualify as "power ballads" in my book - they're just "ballads"), and somewhere between "WYLAW" and "All The Way" Journey's ballads became almost unbearable to me.

Let's not go all experimental on things, nor do we need another 15-20 track CD. Give us 9 solid fucking songs in the vein of "Only The Young," "Separate Ways," "Edge of the Blade," and I'll go back to buying Journey CDs. I know that's a tall order, boys, but you gotta hit one outta the park this time. Neal, you are the riff king, and you can make it happen.

Totally agree!

Unfortunately I think we'll end up with more of the same formulaic approach we've seen on the last three records.

EXACT-A-FUCKIN-MUNDO!!!

And get that warm, analog studio feel back in the mix.
The crisp, sometimes harsh sound of Generations is horrendous.
Welcome to Terminus... You hungry?

A late reply NIG, nothin' like Little Girl, thank God (but I understand the thinking behind it)....if they folowed this formula and gave it the Soto/Journey treatment...we've a winner on our hands...you'll need to listen to the track but unlike these young uns I don't know how to find a link to it :? Those that have the track, 1.40 odd seconds in and bang it starts, cools down, fires up again and cools back down..cool as fuck 8)

Little Girl was pretty unbearable, I've had it on five times today and I just yawn  Power in the ballad and for everything else, blast but don't thrash...no motorhead fellas
