It goes with the territory and if Perry and Neal came and whined every time they were criticized or if any of the musicians that the people on this board trash came here and got in their shit for something posted, it would be a war zone. I say that if Soto is going to mingle on the message boards then he gets treated as the rest of us get treated.

Here's a guy who just got the opportunity of a lifetime to front our favorite band and you want to bitch about holes in his jeans. And it was us "fans" that made the initial comparisons to him and Perry. Jeff merely posted that Perry was one of his biggest influences coming up. I never heard the Deen comment so I won't even touch that one.

Let the guy do the job he was hired to do, and in the clothes that he wants to do it in. It's really not our business. If the other guys had a problem with it they'd tell him to fix it.

Anything beats the threads all the band members were wearing back when the band was falling apart in '86. Perry seems to like to fall into whatever fad is around at the time, hence the ROR look and Perry's early-mid 90's "grunge" look that JSS posted.
