:D would not sit well with the previouse questions,, ...not the same theme..
If you mean all happy happy joy joy questions, then no, it would be a departure from the norm. But ultimately, still up to him to answer it or not. I've sent questions before, he's answered most, which shocked the shit outta me.

Doing well.. as well as she can. She's currently doing experimental cancer treatments in Santa Monica (as I write) and doing well. Thanks for asking.

Sure we can all read between the lines
Get tangled until we hang ourselves
Let the man have a bad day or two its not a crime
Heck we;ve all been there sometime
but it does not define who we are inside

I've always thought that was what he was saying in that song. I don't know what else the words could mean.

Here's an old Journey Force SP interview. It sheds a little light on BGTY.
This interview is from around 1990-1991. Good stuff!

Knowing what we know now, Dean's theory makes sense.
And didn't Perry talk about "listening to BGTY alot recently for strength"
in a recent interview???
His latest Q&A?
The interviews for the new song book?

Cyndy, you seem to be one of the SP pros, any comments???

I still remember getting the Force newsletter that FINALLY announced SP's release of his Strange Medicine album (I think that may have been the last newsletter ever). My entire neighborhood heard me yell "YESSS!!!!"

It was apparent that Steve conveyed the "coded words" long before the Raised on Radio album/tour...unfortunately few listened. :(

I have read every interview they have ever done.

Nowhere does Perry state (before ROR) that he was leaving. You are a complete douche. You just follow me around, acting the wiseass, and NEVER contribute anything. Piece of shit is what you are.

That man can go on surprising people all he wants! :D Damn Cyndy! That must have been some show......to see those 2 singing Sam Cooke's 'Bring It On Home To Me'!!!! Recently got tickets to Bon Jovi's upcoming July 11th show, it's been 17 years since they've been here. So Deb's a happy camper! :D LOL, just don't play more than one country song though!

I agree. I don't recall ever hearing Perry speak of being 'tired' or
ready to walk away from this band until the ROR sessions started. We all know
from interviews at that time that his mother's health/death was really weighing
on him but that was it. Even when he id the Street Talk album, Perry spoke of that
as being a time for him, and the rest of the band, to get some rest and pursue some
different ideas, not to disband or quit.
Although, if this theory works for BGTY then maybe as early as Frontiers' studio sessions
Perry was trying to tell Neal something...
Remember the words to the worst track off that album, "Back Talk"? :D

Are you talking about his indecision on whether to go back to Journey after Street Talk? I know in a couple TV interviews I've got tapes of he seemed to be either avoiding the issue or ambigous about it when he was asked about Journey.

You people do know Bon Jovi are huge lippers right? I was into them heavy when our own Lipper was well, Lipping, then I found out BJ is even worse than Augeri. Just a note to you all.

WOW Susie, I thought $160 per ticket were pricey, yikes $810??? Mine aren't first row or anything, they sold out the Dome in about 20 minutes, so I'm lucky we even got tickets. As much as I luv Bon Jovi, there is only one performer I'd ever pay that kind of money to see live! Good to hear there is a DVD on the way though. :D
