This I don't get.
Tapes were deployed, you and tnc were on it.

But now you're saying practically every other band under the sun is too and you have nowhere NEAR the outrage level, it's just "ho hum, Lippard lips, la de da, Jovi lips, matter of fact, whoopdy doo Toto lips, Kiss lips...."
Why single augeri out?

yup.

and Donna Please and FTLOSM. Missing You just makes me close my eyes.

and I am all about CRAZY by Jeff.

FTLOSM(title song) is definitely awe inspiring. Missing You, Donna Please, WCTNGOF, there are just so many when delivered by that incredible voice.

Because Journey is so much a better band those shit bands you listed.

Def Lippard? Who gives a shit?
Bon Jovi? I totally liked them until I found out....
KISS? They aren't even real.
Toto sucks.

Those bands combined arent half as talented as Journey.

Don't get me started on this shit.

Good ol Rich(Dick) Meyers, brought this up at BT yesterday. He slices and dices me over there, because he has the protection of Cj. He wouldn't dare come over here and debate me.

As far as an SP song is concerned - from FTLOSM:

It's not a "whole song", but the delivery of one word - "heart" - from "Listen To Your Heart":

In the middle, during the bridge:

"Listen to your HEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRT!"

The tone of that word is hit "bulls-eye"! 8)

Yea but he doesn't sing "heart" it's that contrived breathy word "hot" delivered

"HHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOO AAAAHHHHH HHHHHAAAAAAA OOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT"

it's those kind of moments that always get in the way of the song for me.

Lol, for me, too. Also hate the way he often sang "here" (he-ARE) - definite speed bump for me.

But I do get goose bumps by just about anything that man sang live. Esp Daydream, Winds of March, and Opened the Door from the Comiskey concert. OMG! Pure heaven. (does everyone have this concert?) Also Stay Awhile from Captured still gives me chills.

Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry Be Happy" has been re-recorded for his upcoming Greatest (1) Hit plus 1 Unreleased Remake. It will feature Steve Perry performing his breathing techniques for TB patient sound effects. Supposedly Perry had expressed interest in producing and contributing background vocals for a new McFerrin tune, but Bobby felt Perry's gasping for air would be a better complement to his own bass and drum mimickry and chest slapping.

Turned on the radio when I got in the car to leave for work and "Back On My Feet Again" by The Babys came on. I haven't heard that song in freakin' eons! I remember that song being the first one I cranked on a new stereo I got one year for my birthday. It was cool to hear again. 8)

They don't lip.

Put out the entire last tour on "Instant Live" CD's last time out. I have most of them. No lippin going on. No need to, Paul Stanley still has some pipes.

Another great tune...

I came across this video for Everytime I Think of You recently. Watch out for a very young Jonathan Cain getting 'in the groove' toward the end of this clip.... :)
