I may agree with ya on the first 2, but IMO, Cryin is pretty much as good as the original.

We know it's YOUR opinion, YOU wrote it. I'm getting tired of "IMO" and "JMHO" again. Cut it out people...it's fuckin' stupid.

Yes massa!

Agreed. Never said they were better...just sharing. It's always interesting to hear cover versions of classics like these.
'But, I'll tell you this- I'll take Bruce Kulick over Jake E Lee any day of the week!
...but that's just...you know...MY OPINION!!!!!

I love KISS - but Kulick did represent something of a low point in the band's career, don't you think? Sure, he wibbled away on the fretboard in an effective and generic way - but I've never heard him sound as good as Jake E.Lee did on "Bark At The Moon".

Jake E. Lee is better....period. Not too many in the industry would say different.

St John - I lost track of Lee's career after he left Ozzy's band. And I have to say I thought his final album with Ozzy was a disappointment but Ron Nevision probably held him back in '86. But what's the rest of his stuff like? And hasn't he become reclusive?

Perhaps on that one effort (BARK AT THE MOON) and the two BADLANDS lps aren't bad, but I would certainly say Kulick's work on ASYLUM forward was pretty fuckin stellar. And Kulick certainly has a better resume...But I'm certainly not in the INDUSTRY, so I guess my opinion isn't very valid...
