OK found it, thanks.

He hits the notes but none of the soul and passion is there. Much better than Augeri, but still no real emotion.

Maybe it's something you have to be feminine, or at least "in touch with your feminine side" , to hear and feel. Image

I thought the emotion was there, but delivered different than Perry. Just be glad when the cd is in my hands and not have to listen to mp3 samples-ERIC

Perry did set the bar extremely high....which begs the question on the validity of re-recording the songs...

I do think Kevin does come in a distant second to Perry---as many have said, he hits the notes, but not with the same emotion or souldful feel.

To me, this is what really sets Perry apart.

What's impressive to me about this CD is the artwork by Wavid, it's the coolest cover I've seen in a long time...love the fly. You can see it on Kevin's website:

He has a great voice but should write his own music and move on. He did not have hits with these songs so to me it is just another cover.

Red, according to the press release on Kevin's website, the CD will be out in May, 2007 and will available from Clique Records.

Check out the artwork by Wavid..it's really cool!

Well, as a Journey tribute singer. Did YOU ever write music with Neal, Gregg and Jonathan which you are hiding? Or, is that all you are, a Journey tribute singer?

Funny, how you guys say you want Chalfant to do this and that NOW...But, when he DID release things, the same people do nothing but critique that, too.

The bottom line is some of you don't like Chalfant recording Journey songs...and THAT is where it comes from...not how he sounds doing it.

This is the first time I have ever heard KC doing any Journey songs. I have to say I disagree with you. He can hit the high notes but there isnt much feeling in it. I have heard Jeremy in person and he sings with much more passion and has a better voice. Oh....and Jeremy is alot more than just a "Journey tribute singer" as you put it. He has also written his own original music, he's a husband with a beautiful wife and a child on the way, he's a business man, and he is a very skilled artist......as well as an accomplished musician with a fantastic voice.

Wow... you can tell all that from a few soundbites? Maybe before you make such "BOLD" statements you should hear the whole CD. It's not some kind of competition. If you like it buy it, if you don't, don't. Me? I gotta have this. Can't wait actually. 8)

Can't wait to get the CD myself! Kevin did a great job and I really don't see anything wrong if someone with such a great voice covers Journey's greatests songs.
If he had *hidden* reasons to do this project,I for one couldn't care less.I love the songs and his voice, period. :)

I'd sure love to have a studio CD with Jeremey singing the greatest hits, that would be also a great treat for us fans. 8)
