Or Kurt Rambis!

Rambis was a god!

Seriously, though, I loved it when he would get under the skin of the Celtics players back when that rivalry was at its peak. Unfortunately, that rivalry is all but nonexistant now.

I just used to think that when Rambis came in, he looked like one of my old substitute teachers who never could get a girl to look his way. I mean, Kurt with that big ol' mustache and those glasses/goggles....as a kid I would see him come in the game and say, "hey dad, the Lakers are putting in the nerd guy!" But, he was definitely a scrappy player! After Magic, Kareem, Worthy and co retired, I kind of lost track of the NBA. I loved watching Michael Jordan play, but I only really watched when it was the playoffs.

If it's "do or die time", does that mean that there's a chance this may not happen? Is it hard rallying the troops to begin the process?

Chick Hearn used to call Rambis Clark Kent. Guy busted his ass and PLAYED DEFENSE, something the Lakers of today do not understand.

It isn't questions for him - it was actually a specific question in the beginning of the thread.

Loved Chick Hearn, RIP. I became a Lakers fan back in the early 80s and used to stay up late and watch their games with him broadcasting until nearly 1:00am.

Rambis had the black Wild Thing glasses with the nerd strap around them keeping them on.

Ok everyone just chill out - I was just pointing out that the thread was a different question. If she had a different question it would be best to do it in a different post or PM him as he might miss it..

Bro.. are you saying that if this next album doesn't launch Journey back into "Super Stardom" status again, ie; Journey playing stadiums again plus the new music being played on radio EVERYWHERE, it's over?

I certainly hope that's not what you're saying here! The chances of Journey being what they were, on such a large scale as they were, that many moons ago is highly unlikely. Seriously, it's near impossible!

No, I think he is saying that, if he can't take this team to the Super Bowl/World Series/Stanley Cup Playoffs
then Neal will pull a Steinbrenner and trade his ass down to the minors for a few high-priced free agents

No worries.
I think we all know Jeff can deliver the goods.
We just need to think of a way to get the rest of the world to notice.

No doubt el' Jeffie can deliver! I just want to know what their expectations are, because if it's what I mentioned above they are more than like going to come up short... Music has changed. Now, if they can reinvent the wheel, they have a prayer. That's all I'm saying.
