That baby is in the direct occiput posterior position, much harder to push out that way. She would have had a much easier delivery if she would have pushed on her hands and knees or in a squatting position instead of flat on her back!

Maybe not, but I know how to make 'em. Which is a very pleasant experience for the wife. Much more pleasant than when she has to go see you :D

OK, well, it's your fault that she has to come see me in the first place, so how is it that you are the good guy here and I'm the bad guy? Besides, I'm the one that calls for the epidural!

Not ever having had a baby, I can't speak from experience. However, I think that makes you a woman's best friend in the delivery room, Nat...

It is for those patients that want an epidural. For those that don't it is often sitting right in front of them, staring them in the eyes, breathing with them, coaching them through each contraction-reminding them that they can do this-empowering them to give birth naturally.

Oh how I can't wait to get back to L&D full time!!! NEXT WEEK CAN'T COME FAST ENOUGH!!!

That's true! I loved our nurse during our stay. (now pretty soon she's going to be the patient....just kidding) Even more during the recovery. The couch was uncomfortable as hell though :D Brought me free pop or water whenever I wanted though. Gotta love that

Um, no but here are some towels and you are free to use the shower and/or jetted tub. Did you forget to bring some comfortable clothes to change into? I'll get you some scrubs to wear while you sleep. Let me know when you are ready to go to sleep and I'll bring you warm blankets (yes, I do mean warm, from the warmer).

If they ever make a non-animated version of Shrek, this is the one for the job. Just paint the skin green.

Thanks for posting that Larry. Very poignant and well made. Wish it was even a little longer or they should make some more. More examples that will relate to many more in how their behaviors are seen, taught to and emulated by children. Children are like sponges and take in everything they see. They may not show it when they are young but will repeat the behavior later in life. There are many, but one example of inappropriate behavior that could be shown in the next one is cheating. Cheating on wifes or husbands, girlfriends or boyfriends.
