New Thought on Kevin Chalfant

Here's a thought...what if Kevin were to have put out a LIVE CD instead, which included some Journey tracks? By doing it live, there would be more elbow room to put his own spin/style on the songs, without worrying about having to be 100% true to the original studio versions. Perhaps this would have given the fans a better idea on what could have been, if he were part of the group?

My bet is that he has put his own spin on many songs. We'll have to wait and hear the whole thing to know for sure. Only so much you can tell form short clips like that. But that's not a bad idea. A "Live" CD with Journey, Storm and some ofhis other work would be cool!

If he was officially made part of the band back in the day, they wouldn't have re-recorded the Greatest Hits (or any other previous songs) in the studio with him anyway. So it only makes sense to me that a live album would paint a more realistic picture of what he could have done with the songs, rather than a studio-recorded tribute.
