American Drivel lacks serious credibility, in my book. I firmly believe that the show's outcome is shaped from day one. From the initial auditions to the final votes...I remember, the year Clay Aiken lost to Fat Albert....my wife couldn't get through to vote for clay, AT ALL. She tried for hours. Just for kicks I asked her to give me the phone and I threw a vote towards the Fat slob...I got right through.
I'm convinced that the kept the phone off the hook....the last thing the producers wanted was another whitey taking the title...and I think they shaped the vote to allow Reuben Sandwich to win.
The following year, with MonkeyMouth fantasia...she's got less talent than the turd I left in the bowl this morning....how the fuck she won is beyond me.
The one year that makes me scratch my head is the Carrie Underwood year. Go figure, two singers with huge amounts of talent each....get to the top two....
This year is more like the other years....push through a bunch of talentless fucks....make sure the requisite black divas get through...and string along the white rock singers long enough so that guys like me don't yell 'Fix!' too soon.
The show's a farce. The only one with serious talent left on the show is Melinda...she kicks serious booty....and it doesn't matter that she's a black diva...she's been able to nail it every night with every different vocal style...from country to rock to whatever. She's got the goods.
The Black fatty, lekisha, letisha...whatever her name...is awful, simply awful. Sparks needs more maturity and experience...and that douchebag that butchered You Give Love A Bad Name will be shot for his crimes against humanity....(a guy can dream, cant he?)
