Paris Hilton going to jail for 45 days is fuckin' absurd. I've seen a few cases nationwide where some offenders have 3,4 and sometimes 5 DUI's and have done NO jail time. The law in Illinois used to be .10 and has since been lowered to a paltry .08. Paris Hilton blew a .08.....hardly impaired yet against the law. Had she blown a .10 or higher, I might be more inclined to think she deserves to be punished. She should have been fined, but not jailed.

This wasn't a first offense SJ. She was on probation and had blown off some of the requirements from her first offense. The sentence was for violating her probation as much as for driving under the influence without a valid licence.

I know that, Sherrie. The judge should understand that it's very hard to party, whore around, be a socialite and fulfill those ridiculous court required punishments in a 6 month period. Seriously though, I don't think taking away 45 days of her life is warranted in this instance.

PS A friend of mine has a T-Shirt that says D.A.M.M. (Drunks Against Mad Mothers)

I think Paris is going to have some major medical condition which prevents her from going, we'll see. Her family has some major deals spinning. :?

When it comes to being smart enough to avoid this trouble, Paris is a stupid fuck. SJ if you or I were caught 5 times dui and the last one with a suspended license the judge would have thrown our ass in jail for longer than 45 days. Everyone is forgetting that she fucked with this judge by showing up late to court for the hearing and then made some smart assed remarks about "you can't throw an heiress in jail" to the judge. If I were that judge, I would have fucked her up for at least 6 months.

I hope Arnold doesn't pardon her, that would be setting the stereotype of if you have money you can get away with anything.

Face it all Paris is is a life support system for a vagina. The girl doesn't have a fucking clue.

I heard she was caught driving 2 days ago on a suspended license. If that's true, she may be the dumbest person on the planet.

I heard that Paris has people to read legal documents for her. I am wondering if she is even listening to what they have to say, or if they are explaining anything to her. However it is done, Paris isn't even listening. Sounds like a typical kid thing. :D

Instead of employing people to read stuff for her, maybe she should employ someone to DRIVE for her.

No kiding. My favorite Hockey Player, Jaromir Jagr, had this problem
back in the early '90s when he played in Pittsburgh. The PA Staties
got so tired of pulling him over for speeding that they
finally just suspended his license indefinitely.
So we would go to practices and wait for players to drive out of
the lot and get autographs...
Here's Jagr in his Benz, Mercedes or, no kidding, Viper...
In the passenger seat with someone driving him. Too funny!

That it doesn't, SusieP. One would hope that the parents would teach them to use their brains and to use common sense...... They failed with one daughter. I do hope the other is learning from her sister's big mistakes, and won't do this stupid shit. :D

Money doesn't buy class, either.
Paris gets a lot of Press over here [goodness knows why!] but her twin hardly ever gets mentioned.
Maybe that's because she's behaving in a more ladylike manner? The Press are only interested in bad girls, I guess.

Recently, an artist summed up all
these starlet-trainwrecks with a new exhibit...
Too Cool

LOS ANGELES, April 29
Los Angeles hotel heiress Paris Hilton has inspired
a statue meant to combat
"the disturbingly glamorized trend of Hollywood's girls gone wild."
Artist Daniel Edwards unveiled the life-size clay sculpture of
Hilton naked, complete with a model of her dog, Tinkerbell, Teen Hollywood reported Sunday.
Edwards called the sculpture "Paris Hilton Autopsy" and revealed he created it
because of the recent trend of Hollywood starlets being arrested for allegedly driving drunk.
Hilton was sentenced to 36 months probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines in January
after pleading no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving.

Starlets Nicole Richie and Michelle Rodriguez also were arrested
in Los Angeles recently for allegedly driving drunk.
