I'm a proud Democrat. Nutcase? Yeah probably that too. My colors are red white and blue. Fuck Sharpton and Jackson. Anyone that doesn't care what happens to my race, I have no respect for.

Back to the topic. Detroit Pistons win game 1 95-69. I still think it will go 6 games. NHL update Detroit Red Wings need 1 more win to advance to western finals. NBA playoff basketball is awesome.

It is? How so? Calling phantom fouls? Ejecting players for smiling? Piping in programmed sounds to help the home team? Calling fouls on the opposite race(alleged but the NBA won't deny it). Playing favourites to the biggest market TV draw, as to get bigger ratings? Anyone with a brain sees through this.

The NHL on the other hand, has the best product to promote, and sadly, the American public is too stupid to follow it. Guys playing with broken wrists, herniated discs, getting stitched up on the bench, with NO fucking anastetic....playing for the holy grail of trophies...the only trophy that matters...the Stanley Cup.

Give facts Deano. Have you attended a NBA playoff game? The Palace of Auburn Hills here in Detroit is always soldout and no crowd noise is piped in. I am not saying it doesn't happen in other arenas but not here in Detroit. Hockey here in Detroit has always been big that's why it is called hockeytown. We have the best of both worlds Detroit red Wing and having Windsor across the river we get to watch CBC game of the week. College basketball is great but it is not the NBA greatest players in the world.

Deano I have, I said college basketball is great. State is my fav. team. tom Izzo is an awesome coach. Michigan State also plays some home games at the Palace of Auburn Hills. I have been watching NBA basketball for the last 40 years, the NBA is not sterile. same with NHL hockey. saw the great Gordie Howe in his last years and he still was awesome.

Since my Mavs are out, guess I will have to root for the other Texas team. I will NOT wear a Spurs, shirt, however. That is just crossing the line!!! :D

well, can I paint your face blue and silver then??

Stackhouse really came through--if only he could have kept it up. so close...

Poor Steve. shoulda stayed in Dallas.

I wonder if a SPURS shirt is dress code for the polo match? I'll wear a 2XL as a dress, cinch it and find a matching hat and gloves.

the Warriors are like loose guns--so unpredictable. I thought they might rattle the Jazz a little more than they are. 45 GS 45-43 , 7 min til the half.
