You guys can say what you want, but I like Bickler on some of the other stuff...

He flat out rocks on Broken Promises...there is no doubt that song was written for him....

I like his vocals on "The Search is Over", it gives it a grittier sound, that is just the facts....

Red, I was glad to be able to get you one in with Hungry Years...Rebel Girl is awesome as well.....

Burning Bridges...I'd love to hear the THTS album with Dave in vocals as well...

Don't get me wrong...i love some of the 80's boots with JJ as well...Indy is a good one...

I just can't believe there doesn't exist and early 80's boot with Dave....

I am lovin this boot.....I could kiss you eyeof! This was such a sweet time for survivor, Marc and Steph weren't in the band but Jim, Dave and Frankie were doing some creative stuff and it was right before Jim left. God I wish we could just flip a switch and make it right now except I'd want Marc back in the band and of course Steph and his aligator. Damnit eyeof, you did this to me.......got the Dave fever started again! LOL! Dave can handle any JJ song and then some.................listen to She's a Star. THIS IS KILLIN ME!

I was at this show,in fact I imagine I know where this came from as I know a guy who did these shows. It was at a club called Club Dimensions on Kennedy Ave in highland.
I have this show on DVD and also there's a show from there that Frankie doesn't play guitar on,he had broken his ribs the day before and David Carl played the show in his place. Got that on DVD also.

Actually I'm not from that area at all, from Charlotte, but I've been lucky enough to meet some really good people who have helped me out in getting some good stuff. I don't worry about trading and all that...What I have, I share...and others do the same and it just works out...there is a lot of good stuff out therea and not that many of us to enjoy it, so I try and share things as soon as I get them...

Dave makin tunes

Postby lukather4prez » Wed May 30, 2007 12:16 am

Hi silver girl 66 and gang..far as I know and have heard Dave otherwise known as " The Man" by us fans of his is very busy doing those budlight ads for radio n a few for TV and doing jingles and singing nat'l anthems at sporting events n special appearances.

I had heard from a few people that had talked to Dave or emailed him over the past couple years that he wasn't doing the whole music thing outside his work. but you never no!

I know I'd luvvvv to see The Man back for a few songs on rock or pop album. One of my all-time fav singers!! Maybe Silvergirl can hire Dave to do some tracks on a project???
