Well, here's another stab at a thread... I think one of the most attractive (and yes, sexy) things about a guy is his ability to fix stuff, paint, change the oil, yard work, you know, guy stuff--all around handyman/carpenter stuff. Which guys on our beloved board can do this kind of thing, hmmmm? Ladies, is your significant other sexy in this fashion? I guess I should have done a poll, but I don't know how to do it...

Anyway, I thought that was the most attractive thing about S. Perry--he is handy around the house and toolbox (I think I read that somewhere)...

Yeah, I too think that there is nothing sexier then when my husband spends time with my daughter:) I can always pay someone to fix things. No one loves my daughter like he does.

Also, I think he is hotter then hell when he is doing the dishes:) I love to sneak up behind him and grab his chest, like he does to me. Except he likes it:)

As for Steve Perry, it is that freakin amazing voice and that gorgeous hair:) He could sit on his ass all day and do nothing, as long as he hums a little he's got sexy covered:)

My husband is a carpenter. He makes the most beautiful things. But whenever I ask him to make something for our house, he just says "Yeah baby" and I never see it. I have even gone down and paid a lot of money for things to try and teach him a lesson. But he doesn't care. He's always fine with it. But still I have to say, when I see the things he makes I am so proud of him. It really amazes me that my husband can take a plain piece of wood and turn it into a piece of beautiful furniture.

Dean can do it. Car stuff, fix-its in the home, yard work, cooks, bakes. I hope he doesn't get mad at me for sharing, lol. He is also sensitive and has been great during the pregnancy; he's waiting on me hand and foot. Doesn't even blink at the foot massage request. He is pretty wonderful .

Just about the only thing my husband is not good at is the laundry. Seriously, he can fix/build anything. He is literally building a house by himself. We bought a run-down property for him to fix up and resell, but the house had serious foundation problems. So, the house is gone and the new house is going up. The foundation just passed the inspection. In the addition on our house, we hired someone to build the shell because it's a second-story addition, but my husband did the rest. That includes plumbing, electrical, drywall, tile, etc. He is also in the process of remodeling our kitchen. He is a great cook--much better than me. He does all the grocery shopping because I hate it. We have a cleaning lady, so I do all of the in-between cleaning. I also mow the lawn. In terms of parenting, he's a great dad. He spends a lot of time with our daughter. She loves helping him fix things around the house! She has her own tools. She "helped" him drive the backhoe to dig out the basement at the other house. We both work full time, so the parenting is pretty much 50-50.

Wow, your guy sounds just like my husband, especially the laundry part. He's also becoming quite the chef lately, too. I work five ten-hour days in a week, mostly on my feet, and he never refuses a foot rub request. He also does the grocery shopping, as I can't stand it either. He's a fun dad, too...he coached my son all through his rec football years and now they both coach together for the same team, and I'm proud to say they won the championship game for their team's division last year (he is a defensive genius when it comes to creating plays). We are a real football family around here. My husband used to play semi-pro back in the early 80's, and my daughter used to cheerlead for the rec team, and every weekend was spent on the football field. He loves doing home improvement and building things, and is extremely handy around here.

That's great, Nikki! We're spending our time on the baseball field this year. My daughter plays little league baseball, and my husband is the team manager. It's a lot of work for him, but the kids are having a great time and really improving as players.
