Remember Jeremey, I want a heads up on any show within 100 miles of Chicago. I'll be there with a few buds.

Jeremey absolutely floored this audience today. He was up against a lot - a bunch of 20-something, elitist yuppies with chardonnay glasses, for the most part - but everyone's jaw hit the floor after he nailed "Escape". I had to leave after the first set (my little boy was just exhausted), but the band was in rare form. Toast of the town.

Thanks man! Actually "Escape" is where my microphone batteries died, then the sound tech accidentallty unplugged the monitor console when he was reaching for my batteries! So all I remember of that song is grabbing Jimbroni's microphone and then wondering why I couldn't hear anything! Thank God they turned the monitor console back on!!

For the record, we had the largest crowd ever on Thursday for Charlotte's Alive After Five. It looked close to 5-6000 people, though I heard the promoter mention 11,600. They ran out of beer by 8:00!! Now that I'm back in Roanoke, I'll get some pics of the show and post this morning on our site. Will get link here later.

Amazing time, despite the wine and cheese crowd. They finally loosened up a bit at the end, I think!

We should get an Amos' gig sometime before our "hiatus" in September. I will let you all know!
