My New Favourite Band

Dead serious. They have been lurking for awhile, lagging behind Journey and BA, and now, for a couple of reasons, have taken over as my number one band.

They're from Ireland too!

This is an instrumental, but they have shit tons of talent.

Screw Journey

That doesn't sound like a good message. I guess we'll all get the message soon. Either that or you're just yanking my chain?

Aw Deano, you have picked one of my all time fave bands! I've seen The Corrs 7 times in total and they just get better, musicians of the highest order!

The first time i saw them was as a support act to Celine Dion (i was dragged along by my girlfriend of that time...honest!!)back in 1991 and they just blew me away, hooked from the outset. I bought their "Forgiven Not Forgotten" CD from the merchandise stand that night and realised that they were under the wing of the multi-talented David Foster, one of my musical heroes!

They don't tour as often now as Caroline and Sharon now have families, but if you get the chance to see them then beg, steal or borrow a ticket, you won't be disappointed!

Oh, and they're fucking hot too!!!!

Thanks. I love the Celtic sound and the whistles and Violins, coupled with a nice guitar sound...The harmony vocals are second to NO ONE.

Anyone who likes Celtic stuff should also check out a Celtic rock band called Seven Nations: http://www.sevennations.com/

(I've worked with the drummer's mom for years, lol.)

F The Coors.

Journey has the talent to put together the monster rock album of 2008 (I still fruitlessly cling to hope for 4th q '07).

I've seen The Corrs a few times, including before they became really popular. They are a talented band with a great sound. I think they were even better in the early days (their first album is definitely their best). Once they became mainstream in the UK their songs started to get poppier and less rocky.

I like the Corrs a lot, but for pure Celtic perfection you've got to hear Celtic Woman.
