I can see it now. Ryan Seacrest steps to the microphone at the last second and states. "We are sorry to inform America, Steve Perry's hip is hurting and he will not be able to perform this evening" - "Ladies and Gentleman please give a warm welcome to Sanjaya and the Wiggles".

You need serious help. Do you REALLY feel, Steve perry, a guy who won't sing with Journey, you know, his "sidemen" would sing with a guy who looks like he just came out of the "Mutts and Cutts" grooming kennel?

Snajaya only survived because of an underground movement by Howard Stern. AI is already decided. Jordan Sparks is the winner. She is already rehearsing the winning song called "Tonight" or something similar to that.

Elizabeth, you need to get a grip on reality.

The only reason Prince was on it, was due to the fact he supplies dopey bitch with her drugs  I wonder if Perry is poking Randy on the side

Is this report 'legit' or what????

I could care less who the fuck he sings with.
He could sing a duet with that fuckin' blow-hard
Cowell for all I care. How can anyone
NOT be excited at this, whether its on AI or any other show?

Not wanting to sound like the closet Loon I might be but,
fuck-me-runnin', if Perry's gonna sing in public,
I am sooooo there :D

Perry can't possibly be singing tonight. Deano would have been dropping hints about it.

Well, he has been a little down on Azoff and Frig lately.
And he did say we would all need some laughs soon...

Have Azoff and the Frig shook hands with the Devil
and a lame attempt to get Perry back in the band is in play???

I mean, hey, Jeff's out of the country right now....
Could there be some crazy wheelin' and dealin' goin on???

I would love to see Perry sing anything, but I just can't see him doing it on AI.

I researched this reporter from Portland, Maine, Brenda Broder. She is in fact legit. However, if this were true, and she was in AI Monday and Tuesday, one would think Perry would also have to rehearse. Hell, he couldn't remember the words to Faithfully for the Graham memorial.

Gluttons for punishment.

For many of you suffering loons, I truly hope 1 day you get your wish. As a fan of the band though, I would never want to see it happen in this format with SP next to a mowhawked hack on a show that looks like John Davidson would have hosted in the 1970's.

OY! Well either way, I guess I'll be sitting through it. Hmm.. Perry not remembering words or Sanjaya and his horrid singing. Either way, I'm intrigued.

Deano, I read on the AI message boards from a local news reporter that Sanjaya was not present at the rehearsals. But he is performing.

If it's only one song, and Perry has not had Alzheimers set in, surely to God he can remember the words to one song......

Well, here in Salt lake City, Utah, the FOX crew from here sent
the loveable "Big Budda" (really big, fat, hialrious Samoan)
to LA and, in his morning report today, he said that the big buzz
around the set is the appearance of someone special tonight.
When the on-air anchor-folks asked who he thought it was he said\
that he keeps hearing the term "The King"...

Doubt that would mean Perry...
Unless Big Budda is HOTS' big brother? I hear Loonery
can be genetic and that would atest to the "King" reference :)
