OT: For Deano- Bryan Adams

Hey Deano-
I know you're a big Bryan Adams fan. I'm REALLY into the 18 'Til I Die album which most fans of his seem not to dig.
Do you like that one? It's got some great tunes on it.

Black Pearl's my favorite.
I've got a few Badams albums and this one is by far my favorite. I can't listen to Reckless. It just got played too much and I used to play "I Need Somebody" forever in a band...
I liked Cuts Like a Knife (the album) though. Great one there too. I can't get into room service too much, but it's growing on me.

Wakin Up the Neighbours is top notch.

Into the Fire is a heavier rock album.

On a Day Like Today is also unique.

Room Service is the best rock cd put out in the last 6 years..period.

Fearless is my favorite off an album that not a lot of people liked from what I hear. My favorite album is still Reckless. :-)

Into the Fire. Least commercial and best of the lot because of that. Saw him in '87 touring that one. Fucking great show.
Remembrance Day is very heavy. My grandfather fought every major battle in WW1 in France and lived to tell.

I liked the song "into the fire" a lot as well as "native son" from that album but the rest was just okay. His MTV album is also really good.

Rebel, Home again, Remembrence Day, are all pure rock gems.

Keith Scott is as good as a guitar player as anyone. Neal loves him. I asked Neal about Scott, and he lit up...those two guys would be great together.

I consider "Native Son" one of the best songs of BA.It has a fantastic feeling to it...Still sounds amazing after all these years.

Keith Scott is the architypal 'less is more' player. He's not a blinding speed twiddler, but what he does play has great feel and melody. Rate him highly too.

I love "I wanna be your underwear". I used to tell my wife that all the time. Cracked me up someone actually wrote a song about it.

Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman is by far one of the best
Chick tunes that have graced my ears and would have me searching
for names on those unborn children.........Holla fuckin sap fest and I be alive in that line!

Bryan is not my fave but the brotha owned my backside
with that one lil tune.

Into the Fire is his best album ... too bad it didn't do that well overall. Halo effect after the huge hit that was Reckless.

There were a billion versions of 18 'Til I Die in Japan, each with slightly different bonus cuts.

Tasteful is the word I'd use. He does what's right for the song, and he's got great tone. I've rarely seen him play anything but a Strat.
