VH1 Rock Honors tonight

Postby AR » Fri May 25, 2007 11:23 am

Anyone watching? Heart is getting ready to come on. ZZ Top just finished their set. Genesis and Ozzy up later.

Much better than watching American Idol folks. Actual rock music.

I thought Peter Gabriel was going to tour with Genesis? I haven't seen him with the band in the promos for this thing

Good, I couldn't name one song they did with him. As long as they play ABACAB I'll be happy :D

I hate to admit it, but ole Gretchen is doing a pretty good job with Heart.

Ann sounds great!
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I'm a big fan of Ozzy, Genesis, and some of Heart and ZZ Top.

I really hope Genesis plays it safe and goes with hits rather than some of the obscure prog-rock stuff from their earlier albums.

I <3 Tivo online scheduling. :D

BUT... I will say that I'm not really thrilled with Ozzy going last. He still has an active and lucrative career... he doesn't need to be 'honored' yet.

My favorite part was when he told how the Scots invented Golf.

Here it is.

Definitely evidence of hard drug usage though. Still great to hear him sing again.
