I LOVE LOVE LOVE their version of King Harvest's "Dancing In The Moonlight". Very cool, jazzy version!

I'd love to hear that, because the version I've always known was written by Phil.

As for my favourite songs:

Cold Sweat
Jailbreak
Emerald
Black Rose
Don't Believe A Word
Rosalie
Please Don't Leave Me
Oww. My aching tentacles.

WAY too many to list..."Thunder & Lightning," "Warriors," "Cold Sweat," "Bad Reputation," "Dancing In The Moonlight," "Genocide," "Massacre," "Emerald," "The Sun Goes Down," etc.

But I will state flat out that the BEST version of "Emerald" can be found on the Peel Sessions CD...the dual guitars outro just sounds amazing!!

Yeah I think so too, My sisters and I used to listen to it over and over, My dad was a massive thin lizzy fan too :D
I get a bit frustrated, because to me, Thin Lizzy rank amongst the legends, and yet some people either don't know who the hell they were/are, or just have that 'oh yeah weren't they arock band back in the '70s or somehting attitude...I guess in a way I feel like the band is underarted too! :D :D

So true...

Both LIZZY and UFO were very well respected in their day, but never get mentioned
in the same breath or achieved the status of other bigger UK rock acts like Sabbath,
Purple, Zeppelin, Priest, Maiden, etc...

Shame too... amazing bands.
