If you don't or can't answer this, okay, but based on recent Perry sightings and the confirmation of Steve writing new music, is there any reason for us Perry fans to be hopeful of a new album or is this all a pipe dream?

I'm asking because of that comment you made about more possible information.

Thanks in advance.

Why laws yes, I have plenty of other things to place my hopes on. Like, that Britney Spears will soon announce her permanent retirement and by this time next year I will have my credit cards paid completely off. By the end of June I will only owe $4200, and I've worked like a dog to get that point. In the meantime, there is no hurt in day dreaming, just a little. By your screen name I see you're a JSS fan. Good for you! Looking forward to Andrew's response.

I would bet on something coming out that at least includes SP. I'm very cautiously optimistic, but optimistic nonetheless. He's most obviously up to something.

Well, I got some swamp land in Flordia and some great land in Arizona with great vegitation.....Can I interest you??? Because finding solid land in the swamp and water in deep Arizona are about as good of a chance that Perry will come back. He;s toast. He's been toast, what makes all of of sudden any different. He's writing music....Big deal!!!!

Interested?

Maybe he might do some background vocals like he did with David Pack. But I highly doubt he would ever sing lead on one song let alone a whole album.

I suspect that as soon as I go to bed the SCARYGIRL mudslinging will begin. Sarcasm duly noted.

I think we all hope to hear Perry singing with anyone, but to get your hopes up just cuz he's been "writing", which he has been doing for years anyway, is just setting yourself up for disappointment. Get excited when there is a release date for an album or a tour schedule. Until then, he's probably just burning whatever creative energy he has left with writing sessions with his buds.

Besides the Guff song and David Pack song, where you can barely hear him, what other "treats" has he delivered since TBF? I mean new recordings of him singing, not reissues and stuff.

If he's only gonna be writing, not singing lead, I'd just as soon he give the Frontiers, ROR, Departure and if possible the Infinity and Evolution tours the ESC4P3 Houston dvd treatment. WAY rather have that.

Me too. Would be more lucrative for him, too.I think a DVD with 4 or 5 live songs from each album's tour would be amazing.
