I generally HATE IT, when a rock band decides "to play a little blues for you". (Yes I know there would be no rock without the blues - so JSTFU - LOL)

However this is a great clip. Neal is just nasty on this!

Yes, Neal is flat DEALING there. I agree, too with your other point. I don't wanna see just ANYbody try to play the blues. A band has to have appreciation of it and be GOOD at it.

paul rodgers & co at the great american music hall - one of my ALL TIME favorite shows! it was one of those turn-inside-out & lose -your-mind-type shows. i swear the room still resonates with the energy from that show 14 years ago. it's kinda ruined me for all other shows there. i was at the gamh with maroon 5 last night & all i could think about was how amazing neal, paul, deen & todd were.

man, if anyone can find Standin Around Cryin from that same show, it will kill you I promise.

That was the moment that I fell in love with Paul Rodgers. omgoodness.

And Neal...............he is farther gone than Rollin Stone.

Deen just kills SAC too. he has impeccable timing on the ad lib parts.

help? anyone?

bons, I CAN'T believe you don't have this DVD. on the other hand, I fear for your safety as you view it. :D

I caught this show at a small club in Hallandale, FL back in '93...it was absolutely amazing!....Neal was on friggin' fire and Paul Rodgers is one of the best vocalists in rock, in my opinion...oh and by the way, that's Castronovo on drums in case anyone didn't notice.

i'm probably in a shot or 2, but the vid is too dark & small to see much. for some of the show, i was standing dead center on the floor.

Excellent, love that song! Thanks C! Gotta love Deen back there with all that hair. And is that the same Todd that was in Steve's FTLSM band?

It's Paul Rodgers and Company. I don't know of anywhere you can get it. I traded for some videos, SW, CR, etc. and it was just in the pile. I am clueless on this one.

That version of Rolling Stone slays me. Beautiful, ballsy, sexy...everything good blues should be. Neal outdid hisself on that one. Nice find.
