You're the only person I've ever seen say they liked the new Coke! Yucky! lol

Actually I can't even stand REAL Coke anymore, been drinking diet too long now, lol 8)

What can I say? I'm an original. I like old Coke (current Coke?) a lot, too, though. I can't do diet, though - nasty!!

For years and years I could not do diet either, until they came out with the new vanilla black cherry flavors and now I can actually stand to drink it.

I'm the same way. I've been drinking diet for so long, regular Coke is WAY too sweet.

You guys are cracking me up. Two tastes I can't STAND in soda are vanilla and Dr. Pepper. Blech! I don't really drink much soda at all anymore, but if I drink one, I'm going for the real thing - Coke, Mountain Dew, etc.

Exactly, even the taste is just weird to me now, it doesn't even taste like Coke anymore to me. Weird!

All soda needs to be relegated to the past. One of the worst things to ingest. Diet soda is actually even worse for you then regular, but it's all bad.

Well, they may as well relegate more than half of what we eat and drink to the past then, because much of it is garbage anyway.

I've had the diet Dr. Pepper vanilla/rasberry/cherry or whatever it is LOL, and it's good. Diet Pepsi wild cherry flavor is good too.

I can't stand Mountain Dew or Sprite. :?

True dat! The American diet is horrendous.....and our food is chock full of chemicals.....it's a toxic waste dump. Just saying the soda addiction is epidemic and sits on top of the garbage pile.

Me too. I not only think they're too sweet, they also give me a hypoglycemic type reaction on an empty stomach(cold sweat, nausea, shakiness). Any sugared beverage will do it, even some natural fruit juices.

Oh, forgot to mention, Diet Coke with Splenda actually tastes more like real Coke I think, & doesn't have that diet "taste" that some people don't like.

I need some M&M's...afternoon work slump...

I definitely don't miss the smoking indoors, especially in the work place where you can't get away from the smoke. I bought a rotary phone from Goodwill recently - I like it - it's pink. Carbon copy - yucky, frustrating stuff. Anyone remember the mimeograph in the school office? :)

You mean the gigantic machine that made our school papers with that blue ink, & if the teachers passed them out still wet, we'd all sniff them? lol

I miss vinyl records for the covers and inserts. You need a magnifying glass to read the credits on cds! :) My Captured lp, still has the poster, tucked inside it.

Sniffing the copies at school! I remember that!

Me too! While cleaning out a closet in my Mom's house, my sister uncovered a typewriter. My 8 year old niece looked at it and said "What is that?!" She had never seen one and had no idea what it was. Too funny!!
