Not without some kind of knowledge of the players or a team to root for. Even if they were inspired, after the offseason they'd have to sit through 84 games against the Blue Jackets, Thrashers, Wild..etc....They need to cut 10 teams, just imagine how great it would be! You'd theoretically have current 2nd lines as 4th lines. Solid rosters across the league, add the salary cap and practially every team would be a contender.
