Moonie, ya can come visit any time. I've only been to Eastern Canada once, for a friends wedding in Oshawa, Ontario. It was nice but wow it is alot more humid out east then out west. Toronto and Vancouver are like the New York and LA of the US.

I'll have a stab at this. If you think Journey was doing fine using taped lead vocals or don't believe they were using taped lead vocals then this is moot. If you do believe they were using taped vocals, continue. Dean exposed the band. They indeed went into panic mode. He proposed going live to stop the onslaught of exposure. Journey went live and it was clear Augeri could no longer perform w/out the assistance of tapes. Cancel the big tour with DL or bring in someone to do the job? We know what happened. Did Dean save Journey, yeah you can say that because had they continued cheating the fans the word would have spread beyond our little internet world. Dean did not offer Jeff the gig, but he certainly made change happen that allotted the opportunity.

As healthcare professionals, I don't understand why many seemed so threatened at the possibility of healthcare being provided to those who need it - not just those who can afford it.

I am sick and sick and tired of having to drag my oxygen to work everyday because even tho I work and do have insurance the co-pays are so high I cannot afford much of the medicine I need. The time will come that I need a full heart/lung transplant and I will not be able to come up with my share of the money for the procedure or the aftercare.

I am not a bad person - I have always been a good person - and I have to deal with health care professionals everyday.

On many days it seems they are just trying to kill me. And before anyone gets insulted at that, imagine how insulted I feel when I am told that my oxygen cannot be delivered for 2 days.

Right now I am pissed at anything in this country that even vaguely calls itself "healthcare".

Health care really needs to be two separate words because from my point of view it is an oxymoron.

I don't understand how you feel that the quality of health care will improve with a universal health care system. I don't think it is acceptable that your DME company has times when they can't delivery your O2 for two days but how do you feel that a universal health care system will solve that problem?

You seem to be missing the point, universal health care does not equal improved quality of health care. You get what you pay for. And I do not mean that those people that have health insurance get a higher standard of care, I mean that if a universal health care system is adopted, health care costs will be so controlled that only bare minimum care will be given. (I think I've already covered this.)

The people you mentioned above in this post have participated in many postiive discussions on this board about Journey. However when Deano personally attacks us FIRST for just stating our "own personal opinions" that DIFFER from him, and the rest of all the "other followers" of this board, WE have "every right" to respond to it .
