Record Deal?

Postby summergirl » Thu Jun 07, 2007 9:25 am

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but with all the talk about the band taking the summer off to write and record the new album, I keep wondering - do they have a record deal? Weren't they dropped by their last label? I wonder if a major label will take a chance on Journey with JSS...

I think they're signed with, "at the gate" records :D

Good one.

Well for the love of sound they sure do sign on every non talent
prettiness that comes their way.
Still hopeful for new Journey music here.

K-Tel is thinking of signing Journey and Speak-N-Spell is looking at signing Augeri. No label will touch any band on their 3rd major lead singer especially considering the first, Perry (fuck Fleischman and his 2 songs) is so closely associated with the band. 1998 to 2006 nuked any chance they ever had at getting a label. Phony concerts didn't help either.

I Can't Tell You Why, is a beautiful song. Talk about amazing, Timothy is an underrated vocalist. Very down to earth guy too.

I agree, TBS is a great vocalist and bassist. He was a good addition.
