I don't have that one. Mountain Aire was August 23rd, East Rutherford is the 25th. Sorry folks.

How the Hell they drive across country in 48 hours or less?

Must have taken Amtrak.

Rick, I have about half a dozen ROR boots and one is a New Jersey dated October 25, 1986. Maybe you're off on the month. :?

I don't have Mountain Aire either. :(

That's entirely possible. Would make a lot of sense since they were in Cali two days before.

Yep - looks like Deb is correct. There was no show on Nov 25th that year.
11/23 in FL and then 11/26 in AL.

10/25 and 10/26 in New Jersey. :D

Well it wasn't very far from their last live show. The last live boot I have is 12/31/86 in Longbeach.

PP, I didn't mean to relate my reply to 13's post to you in particular here. It just struck me as being a fitting comment on the many who await Perry's next move as if there's a reason to think he'll ever make one again at this point.

Guess I was reading a different thread.

All I saw here were journey fans using this band down-time to share some memories.

I hope they continue.

There it goes, running the "Picked On" flag on up the poll right on cue.

Nah, I just think NoMoreTails was just expounding upon my observation the other day that pp's pathological obsession with salting every 2.23 posts with some variation of the words "I think perry is journey and classic journey is the only version of journey and i believe in steve and i am hopeful that he records but am happy if he is happy" all capitalized for extra emphasis borders on the manic.

There is also a recording of one of their Hawaii shows, pretty sure it is from either the first or second show of their Hawaii stint (I have it mislabeled as 1/13/87, but since their official tour listing in the remastered ROR CD, they weren't playing on that date), but unfortunately it is probably the worst sounding Journey boot out there. By the sound of it, the taper must have been in the farthest back seat in the arena. Sad not only for the historical value, but it was one of the rare occassions they played "Foolish Heart".
Rock on,
Eric

The list of tour dates above is missing the show in Houston. It was originally scheduled for 12/9/86 (which was SO cool for me as it was the day after my 16th b-day), but was rescheduled for 12/10/86. Still a great b-day present for a 16 year old! Hell, would still be a great b-day present now!! LOL!

Steven had the flu that day...I remember that vividly. I called Nocturne and that's what they told me. Remember the old days? We had to call all the goddamned time!

Can't say I ever called them... I was just glad the show was rescheduled. Knowing what I know now, how close they were to the end of the tour - we were lucky.
