He added that she had been up late working on a music video, in the second day of shooting.

Then she was late to court (not smart) and was given a sentence that was supposed to teach her that she is not special, nor is she above the law. Gee that worked out, didn't it?

Personally, I think .08 is bullshit. It used to be .10 in Illinois and they lowered it to .08. That's just ridiculously low and has been shown to cause no more impairment than smoking does. Should smokers be arrested and sent through this bullshit process too? I WOULDN'T be defending her if she had blown like a .12 or something like that. If I were the cop she would have been blowing but certainly wouldn't have been arrested. Again, I'm elated her sentenced has been reduced. Will be celebrating in her honor tonight.
