Here's an Idea I had today. So that we can better get to know and understand each other, let's use this topic to describe certain phrases that are unique to our geographic areas.

For instance: Here in the northeast where I live we refer to dating and or screwing a fat girl as -

1. Riding a fatty
2. Going Hoggin
3. Pig farming

Now the way this works is, you post how you all describe the same things and then post a different phrase unique to your area and we tell you how we describe the same thing. And around and around we go.

This could turn out to be pretty funny or a complete bomb. Time will tell

Here in the west, in college in particular, after hog hunting and scoring a heffer, and taking her back to her pad, I had to take the Walk of Shame early the next morning. And I do mean early, because you don't want your buds seeing you roll out of the oompa Loompa house...I had to bite my arm off many times to escape a fatty.

We used to go out and see who could get the narliest, fattest, grossest pig....I was ok at it, but got smart later and started putting out salt blocks in the bars......nailed em flawlessly after that.

See now having to gnaw your arm off was a term we used to describe a chick who was coyote ugly. When you wake up and find her asleep on you arm, you gnaw it off at the shoulder to get away without waking it up.

Hey you two lumps of turd  ...So called 'Fat' girls have feelings....nothin' wrong with a well proportioned woman. The term I use in my area is...A Real Woman.

I've never been able to sleep with someone on my arm(s). So I kinda lucked out, if you want to call it that.
Nothing wrong with holding her afterwards, but when it's time to sleep, it's time to roll over and sleep.

To the two fuckheads hating already. If you read the opening post, that was just one example of things. So far that is the only one being discussed. How about actually contributing as opposed to your whiny bullshit.

In Chicago we call sandwiches "subs." That's what they're shaped like, hence the term. Coke is Coke and Pepsi is Pepsi, but they're both types of pop.

Yeah- my cousins all say "pop".

Down here, it's Coke- doesn't matter the brand.
Oh and I've always said hoagie, but down here *most* people call them subs.

How does your area define a steak sandwich? Up here it's chipped beef, cheese of some variety, fried onion, sauce on a long roll.

I know in some parts of Jersey and New York if you ask for a steak sandwich, You get a filet on a roll

I love Coke, don't care for Pepsi. Everything's a Coke here too. They're sub sandwiches here. I've heard of Hoagies, Gyro's, Grinders, Poor Boys and Heros.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Oh hell no! It's coke. All of it. And if you want it you have to specify what kind of coke you want...dr. pepper, sprite, coke...

Anyone who calls Pepsi or any other brand of pop a "Coke" (other than Coke itself) is a fuckin' retard. That is perhaps one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard of.

In FL it's soda

I think in Texas it is all Dr. Pepper

And if you are going somewhere like say to Deano's house, at least 2 versions:

gringo = "Fixin' to go to Deano's house

cuban = "Passing by Deano's house"

Sometimes you are dumber than a rotted fence post.

When you go through the drive thru at KFC, or Taco Hell, I bet you most people say, "Coke with that" even though it's a Pepsi Co outlet...it's a respect to the power that Coca Cola is.

You know the second most popular word in the world is "Coke" after "hello?"
