Yeah, I hear you. I can't really speak my mind right now, for certain reasons, but your points are valid. I will retreat on this one, and live to fight(in a big way), another day.

I'm starting to get a bad feeling that the Schon and Friga and/or management may have held his contract over his head and legally bullied him into lipping. Just a thought. And hey, if Friga, Schon and Valory didn't respect the "legacy" why should Augeri have? I am now 100% on Augeri's side because there was NO "legacy" when he was on stage anyway. They were basically just live karaoke. Senior members of the band, who built something over 30+ years, should've cared about what they were doing to their image and to their fans. But they didn't, so I see NO reason why Augeri should've cared about people that were 99% Perry fans anyway. He did what he was told and slipped away, leaving Friga and Schon with the mess that THEY created. Friga and Schon fucked us, not Augeri. Augeri was merely their puppet.

Fair enough. In all reality I only believe about 75% of what I'm saying anyway. Just throwing some points to ponder out there. WTF have you done to your avatar? He looks like a hybrid of Charlie Chan with that foo-man-choo, and Randy Johnson with that horrible complexion. I'm assuming you were going for the Ichiro look. Retry!!

As for the totality of my posts, I post a lot of bullshit and some really dumb shit when I'm drunk. I like to keep people guessing and on their toes. If ya ever want clarification on a topic, simply send me a PM. Want to know what I think of you, Nat?

Schon and Friga didn't walk out there and lip. Neal played his guitar very well, and Friga played his keys very well; not their fault.

Also, and I don't give a shit anylonger, but Azoff played a part in this too.

While they couldn't have made Augeri go out there, they could have also STOPPED him. They didn't, because they didn't care about the sincerity of the music, the "legacy" or us, the fans. So I ask you again, if senior members of the band didn't care, why should a "hired hand?" By that time I'm quite sure Augeri had figured out he was merely there to tour and keep the money streaming in. You said it best when you were on your anti-Journey tirade. "These guys have no souls." As it pertains to the band and the decisions they've made over the last 5 or so years, you were 100% correct.
I totally agree with you.The whole band fucked us not just Steve. Although it stirs up alot of emotions when clips are posted with Steve A,its good to see them, and and brings back some good memories. He was really good when he was on.

Not me. I speak in 100% truths...whether I am calling Fraudgeri a fraud, or HOTS a TWAT, I speak the fucking truth. THAT's why I am a polarizing figure here. Some appreciate the unbiased truth, and some can't handle the truth.

Um, why?

It's the only greatest hit that I had yet to hear Augeri sing. So I've been curious to hear how it sounds.

Agreed. Been waiting to hear an Augeri version of this until now. It is terrific, and thanks JeremyP.

What a song, it should be re-added, I bet bet JSS would dig covering it.

The live ROR tour version that's on Time, the GH DVD and now ROR itself might be my favorite live Journey track ever.

No, we know how popular revisionist history on this board turned Generations out to be.

I remember listening to Generations for the fist time. My jaw was on the floor and all I could think was "It's over. They simply don't care about music anymore." Pure shit. The worst album in the history of ALL music.

I don't remeber but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt because you've NEVER been an Augeri guy.

Aside from the heads, though, the populace of this joint mostly was in unison on its enjoyment of Generations.

oh, I just saw you weren't even here until 'Gate was in full mushroom cloud anyway. But I do believe you probly hated it, though, for what that's worth buddy :D

There are some good songs on Gens and on Arrival. I don't like them because of Augeri's vocals though. I like them because they sound good to me. Image

Obviously my post was a bit over the top, but I will say this. I really didn't like the album at all. I couldn't even tell you where it is. I remember listening to "Better Life" and wanting to slit my wrists. What an awful, redundant, boring song. Couple that piece of shit with Butterfly, Believe and Gone Crazy and NO album could be good. TPIYH is the only TOLERABLE song for me.

Better life is the same shit for like 7 minutes. You could tell they put NO effort into that song. That song makes me sleepy. FITH sucks too. I bet you tuck your balls and pecker between your legs and run around with a smock on using a loaf of bread as a keytar singing Every Generation.

How?
With Perry? You wouldn't even have songs like either of those with him.

And even Augeri bashers have concored TPIYH is arguably his strongest studio vocal.

Better Life is a great tune. I find it surprising, out of any songs on that CD I would have pegged you to like that one. The first time I heard it I thought it sounded like it could have easily come off a Perry solo CD.
