thanks for the tip, sherrie. name changed back.

you can bet I was SHOUTING!!! " that's Jeff!! That's Jeff!!! " everyone's looking around, "who's Jeff??" hehe

I didn't have to trash talk the visitor's bench-the Cav fans that were sitting in between me and the bench did plenty of it. (I was in the 3rd row up from the floor behind the end of the offical's desk) I enjoyed it immensely. hehe

I was surprized at how little the game felt like a national event. It was like any basketball game anywhere. very cool.

Lee Ann Rhymes sang beautifully but DESTROYED the moment with her hoochiefied outfit. get a grip girl. wear a spurs jersy like the rest of us or at least a tshirt. sheesh. no stillettos on the court.

I'll get some pics on my space in a coupla days.

Got your text message, thanks. Couldn't see you in the crowd the brief moment I had the game on and you know Dean would've started bitching had I left it on too long ;). I'm sure hearing Jeff's voice, especially that song got you movin'!! Congrats on the win.

P.S.
Trevor and Wyatt send sloppy kisses, lol.
Until we meet again, may God
Hold you in the palm of his hand.

for Dean

I was flipping through the Channels last night and our local (at least MY) feed was carrying the Spanish play by play. Now I've got the Latin blood in me, and I understand what they are saying, but I can't stand Basketball, so it just got flipped off.

Stand Up and Shout is a song that Jeff did for the movie ROCKSTAR starring Mark Walberg.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ww4bd9BTSPw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7UVq01gmmc

(is it hot in here??)

San Antonio has a professional basketball team called the Spurs. They are playing the national championship games with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

there are 4 quarters in basketball at 12 minutes each. with 4:54 left in the 3rd quarter, the song by Jeff was played to get the crowd to it's feet. (we were already standing BTW)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDPNdmzsd6I

(this is clip is 2005)

the AT &T center holds 18,000. they all heard it. and everyone watching the game on their local ABC affiliate tv station heard it.

Jeff is my soul brothah so when I heard his voice in that setting I was very excited. since he is in Journey now, I thought it might be of some interest to some Journey fans.

does that about cover it? or were you kidding?

I'm pretty sure Lars was just asking about the stand up and shout reference.

Everyone knows that basketball isn't a REAL sport. (ducks on the way out)
