Let's see if they have the balls to put "BackTalk" up again! They're going to have to get traffic cops on there to moderate. The outcome ain't going to be pretty.
I will say that even though I prefer Perry singing I had a lot of respect for JSS and the way he handled himself with the band. There are not many front man out there who will come on a website just to chat with the fans. When I see the man in pics with the fans and the things they say about him it's been nothing but class.

Anyone walking into the job has to know what he is signing up for. I remember Jeremey saying numerous times he wouldn't want it.

JSS was about as qualified as it gets and he didn't stick around. Shame.

I thought we were ready to go forward with a kickass new Journey album and tour supporting it with JSS fronting the way.

I ain't happy (again).

Given the circumstances with Augeri and now Jeff there is 1 gentleman who can pull this off in SPADES and a lot of us have become friends with him on Andrew's very site. If it is him, he deserves our support just as Jeff does our thanks and regrets for what could have been.

If that's the case, I think most of us will get behind him JoePa.
I just need to spit fire for a bit though, pardon me please.

I wish I could, but I cannot. This is JOURNEY for God's sake!!

NO FUCKING WAY DO WE WANT THEM HERE IN MISSOURI!!!!!

Not after this latest bullshit. Yeah, I'm through spending money on them too. If Jeff ever comes back through STL, I'll spend all the money I have on seeing him. Afterall he DID save my ONCE very most favorite band in the world. The Band named Journey has lost my support aand thi=us, TOTAL respect now. I hate to say that about Deen, because I don't think he had anything to do with it, (I could be wrong), but if he did, I'm through even giving a rats ass about him too.

If Jeff reads this, I wish him well, and as I said, I'll support anything I possibly can by him.

Seriously folks, If I didn't like some of the people here, I'd be gone from this place, based on this latest debacle. Maybe Andy should rename this forum, to the Black Hole, or just OT Forum, because there's not going to be much productive Journey talk going on here anymore form many people.

Way to screw the fans over yet again, Neal and Friga. You know, the ones that still came back to see you, even after you screwed them over once or twice before. What Jerkoffs.

JSS said in the other thread he'll give his side soon enough.

Repeating what I said in the other thread, Andrew's caught a bit between the proverbial rock and hard place. He's had a good relationship with Journey's management, but he's friends with JSS. I can't imagine that this time for him is easy.

Not to mention it overshadows his own good news.

Replace Jeremy Hunsicker's name in the equation with steve perry and somehow I rather doubt you'd be going on about Schon/Cain's arrogance.

Maybe the gangster influences of watching too many episodes of The Sopranos got to Neal and Jon and they offered Jeremey "an offer he couldn't refuse".

You'd be wrong Joe13.

I think a lot of Jeremey and I think he's an amazing talent, but wrong is wrong, and Jeff has been treated wrong.

well, well, well.......

even I was on board with JSS, so of course, he was TOO good, too influential, a lead singer with true charisma
Journey won't make that mistake again?

I was drawn back in but now I too am done. Pathetic

Screw you Journey. It would appear that Steve Perry is the only one with any class left in this joke of a band. I wish JSS the best -- he can do better and will.

I don't get the new direction thing. The whole point in hiring Soto was to do just that. Now they kack 'em? I don't get it, maybe their going to try rap out or something...

Isn't that the way it's been since '98?

I guess last year was telling us something. That they're only ever going to be an opening act for the rest of the time that they are together.

Hahahahahahahhahahahahahah!!!!!!!

Sitting here with the biggest fucking grin that I've ever had on my face.

I've been telling people since the crash of '98 that this band should have closed its doors for good.

Don't know who I feel worse for...JSS who obviously has lots of talent, or all you poor bastards who let these washed up pricks fuck you over for years.

Wish I could be there to raise a glass and smoke a stogie with Perry.

I always read here that "Augeri and his lawyers" were the bad guys. Some of us went ever far enough to warn JSS that he better have all his legals in order too because there would be a day when he's no longer the 'permanent lead singer' for Journey. Guess this day came already. I still wanna know Augeri's side of the story. Will we ever hear JSS' story? Maybe not. Hope he's lawyering-up...just like that evil Augeri allegedly did last fall.
Business is business, no?
