JSS Out of Journey?

It's now or never for a Perry reunion.

Everyone says it won't happen... but stranger things have and money DOES talk.

But to some, integrity speaks louder.

Which I believe Jeff has in spades and what gave Journey a chance after the tapegate fiasco. I bet Perry wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole. I do believe that Perry is the only singer that could save them this time, anyone else...... not happening.

I think you've assumed facts not in evidence here - Perry was reported as writing with Bettencourt. No mention of an album or solo release was suggested.

But no, I don't expect to see Perry with Journey, and frankly at this point, I'd think less of him if he did.

I am sorry that JSS is out of the band. Jeff, you have earned a shitload of new fans (myself included) and will always be part of the Journey history.

Whether or not I continue to support Journey depends on who the new singer is.

As for the business side of this situation, I will leave that to the band. It's not my place or anyone else's to get involved in what they feel is best for their band.

Well, I go away on string of much needed vacations after finals...and I come back to this mess.

I've been trying to catch up on this mess...and sadly, I feel behind on everything.

The only thing I have to add (which is nothing new, really) is that every ex-singer comes out of this smelling like roses now....Especially Perry....and even, sadly to say, Augeri. It seems like Jeff got fucked on the highest order...and was used like a fucking tampon and chucked away. Without JSS in the fold, Journey would have exploded last year in wake of tapegate....JSS saved them from that and he gets cast aside thanks to Neal, Frigga and whomever else was involved.

Well, I'm sure I'm not alone here, but if anyone knows what the fuck happened, I'm all ears.

I doubt Back Talk will open for a while. Too many fans are pissed off (me being one) and the board will be overloaded with negitive posts.

They may even wait until a new singer is announced before it starts back up.

To be honest....I didnt know JSS before he joined Journey. I saw Journey with JSS in Germany (March 2007) for the first time in my life (my first contact with Journey was the Frontiers album) and I was amazed. Jeff gave so much power to the band and sang the songs like I could only dream off.

I'm not sure if I will support the band in the future. What can follow that is better or at least equal to JSS?????
