I think what threw some people off, was that a few people here said that they KNOW who the new singer is. Some were saying they knew who the new singer just as this board was really getting rolling with topic matters on this whole matter.
It wasn't just some saying 'I know' in relation to what happened, this was the answer some gave right after someone was asking questions about the new singer.
So what, they had made a decision that some knew about, but it changed?
I'm not asking anyone who may know anything to tell us anything, I think it just gets cofusing for people who might come here for some info.
If someone says they know who the new singer is, then that of course makes people think they have made a decision.
I have no problem with someone saying they know, without saying who, because that at least lets me know they have at least made a decision.
It just gets confusiing when so many people who say they know, are saying different things.
Yes, knowing about what happened, we will hear many stories, but to say you know who the new singer is, that's not opinion, that's flat out saying they made a choice.

I am very disraught that anyone would run down Jeremey. Based on his own words which u can all read in the thread titled "Frontiers" he has been given an opportunity to live his dream. That is the same opportunity which Jeff, Steve A. & Steve P. were given. It is the same opportunity Herbie gave Fro (aka Neal Schon), Rolie, Valory, Smitty, Aynsley, Fleischman & Friga (aka Jon Cain). Is it the same opportunity Fro gave Castronovo. I doubt many of us would refuse such an opportunity. In his own words, Jeremey told us that he is not officially the lead singer, hasnt auditioned, has no contract. He is not lying to us. He was not offered this job months ago. I am convinced of that fact. He is a good man who tried to give his side of this here & threw himself to the wolves, just as Jeff did almost a year ago. Let us not shoot Jeremey for trying to give his side or for attempting to make a dream come true. Please.

If this had been handled differently, I would have been the 1st one to buy a ticket to see Jeremey w/this band should he be offered the job. I have performed a lot in front of crowds (I've sang in bands for years)
but my biggest was only about 1,000...
But whether it was 100, 1,000 or if it would have been
50,000, it was only special because I
truly felt part of something,
I had some ownership of the entire situation...
I can't help but think Jeremey will be treated as nothing
more than a hired hand by the band and most concert-goers
from here on out...

It just doesn't seem worth it, to me, in the long run...
I do wish Jeremey the best and pray he doesn't get
run over like the others before him but i can't see it
going any other way...

I'm not baffled. I'm DISGUSTED. Some here will go see Jeremey if he gets the gig & I hope he is very happy. I would love to see Jeremey perform but I can't spend money on that band anymore. Even if I got free tickets, I wouldnt enjoy it knowing who is up there on guitars & keys. That is a shame. Jeremey is a great man & if this were handled differently, I'd be very excited about it.
