I ABSOLUTELY believe that Sammy WILL join Jonathan, Ross, Neal and Dean. I also ABSOLUTELY believe that this has been the plan for quite a while.

Now they may be called: Sammy Hagar & Journey or Journey featuring Sammy Hagard.

Personally, I like 'A Haggared Journey' - It fits those money grubbing unloyal hacks best!

REMEMBER: The guitar is for show, the VOICE is for dough!!!!

I am just playing the'Hunchback card'.

Still I truly believe that this is where Neal was heading ever since he lost his leadsinging mealtickets.

Planet Us flamed as did Soul Sirkus.

Not even dumbass Neal isnt stupid enough to can JSS unless he has a PROVEN backup plan.

That backup plan is Sammy.

Have any of you ever read some of the interviews that are posted on JSS website. He has two on there of Neal. He torches Steve A. Never fully denies tapegate. He just says enough to cover his sorryass guitar playing self. Sounds like Mark McGuwire. Some quotes were' Every note I ever played was live.' Like his dumbass didnt know & ORDER what was going on with Steve. Then in another article he torches Steve by saying how often Dean had to bail him out live.

He's one sorry mother. Should of had his ass kicked years ago.

Anyway even his sorry dumb ass is smart enough to know that canning JSS is only good if he brings in someone of higher stature.

As stupid as he is, he is counting on Journey fans being dumber and more forgiving.

I hope that we are not. I COMPLETELY bailed on them after Tapegate.

With that said I am now a huge fan of JSS, SteveA , and Dean.

SCREW the others!!!!

Good God, if Sammy ever agrees to this nonsense, I will personally rip the tequila bottle from his hands and slap him on the back of the head!

This would be the most ridiculous career move he could ever make!

It would make alot of sense to me with Sammy. I can't think of any other big name vocalist from the era that could fill the shoes. And he could totally take the music in a different direction. But I don't think he quite fits in with Cain's comments about covering the back catalog, his voice is distinct. This is all up in the air, and this all is SOOOOoooo 'Rockstar' ... but what about Dean doing lead, and Smitty coming back? I would dig that.

No one is stating what is REAL obvious today so I will.

It is NOW one day closer to Sammy Hagar joining Journey!!!

P.S. Forget the back catalog and read what Neal has said on JSS website. Log onto JSS's site and go to the press &reviews section . There are 3 interviews on Neal( they are in the Press section). He basically could care less about the back catalog. He wants to move forward. He and JSS could reallly write together. He says it himself. Thats why JSS was such agreat fit for Journey. As for the back catalog that was just Steve Perry saying 'Remember Me'. It's all there for the reading. Tapegate, Generations, SteveP. & Steve A. Straight out of Neal's dumbass mouth. www.jeffscottsoto.com

I still think that there's an "outside" chance that the band will re-form with Steve Perry.

Call me nuts but, crazier things have happened...

Must have been something in my OJ this morning...making me think crazy thoughts.

By all accounts, Perry doesn't need the money and why would he want the hassle?

It is now six hours closer to Sammy Hagar joining Journey.

The ONLY way that Sammy is not Journeys next lead singer is if #1 Journey folds, or #2 Steve Perry comes back.

BOTH are possibilities.

For SURE one of those three things is going to happen.

My money is on Sammy.

My place bet is on Steve Perry.

My show horse is Journey folding.

One of the above will happen.

It is now 42 minutes closer to Sammy Hagar joining Journey

Lighten Up Buckwheat,

All of you have got EVERY other singer in the world. Ive picked two.

Sammy Hagar will be their next singer UNLESS Steve Perry decides to come back to these money grubbing unloyal chumps.

I do get one more singer ................................... Whitney Houston

As for them hanging it up. Thats what they need to do minus Steve Perry. But not Neal The Hack. He will bring in Sammy.

While Sammy can still sing, he does not have his 'How Do I Know When It's Love' voice. Fine, Deen could sing the ballads. Whatever. Sammy just sold his Tequila biz, I cannot figure out one reason why he'd even consider this.
Why in the hell would he want to get mixed in with this shit and he's totally his own boss right now and set for life..plus, what would Mike do... Oh, I get it, it would be Sammy, Mike. Deen and the two assholes...
I am a huge Sammy fan, and I don't want him to join these assholes. let alone I don't want to hear him sing Journey songs, and I wouldn't. I would not support Sammy because it would be supporting the two nimrods. Never will happen.

Sammy will do this because then he will be the only one to EVER save two groups and have them prosper under his voice!!

He will then be ALWAYS be remembered for this.

He will then TRULY go down as a Rock & Roll icon.

And like the train.................... He thinks he can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok Yogi,

You been running your suck for a couple of days now and still have offered not 1 iota of proof to your claims. So either put something real on the table here or check into a mental hospital. My money's on the latter of those two choices.

Dont look now, but it is once again ONE day closer to Sammy Hagar becomming Journey's next lead singer!!!

Where is my info coming from?????

Hunchback.........................................

Do you really need inside info with this band??????

Hell no..

Many of you live here 24/7 drinking the bathwater of ANYONE on the inside. NONE of you had a clue this was coming!!

As uneducated as Neil is, he isnt business stupid. He is NOT going to can JSS to bring in some tribute lounge act type of singer.

For Neil to do what he did he had to have someone BIG in mind that he was realitively sure he could bring in.

That leaves either Steve Perry or Sammy Hagar.

My money is on Sammy!!!

The dueling guitars, the TWO time R&R Hall Of Fame entry. ' Neil is twice the guitar player as Eddie Van Halen was' 'I know I have played with them both'- SH Rolling Stone 2011 interview.

Its a NO brain chice.

Suprise suprise. I knew this was coming. I just didnt post it on the boards. Shocked now?

Wanna bet? Then again, I don't think the "candidate" ur referring to should be called a "tribute lounge act type of singer? Very insulting. No soup for u.

My money is on Sammy!!!

How much? Name it.

Have you been paying attention to this band at all over the last ten years? Add to that Cain's statement that they want to sound like "the 65 million units" and, voila, you have another singer that will make Journey into a tribute act.

Read some of the interviews on JSS's website. Three of em are from Neil. Neil wants NEW guitar driven rockin material. He seems against the older material. www.jeffscottsoto.com then go to the Press & Reviews section. Read what Neil thinks about Generations. He states that he likes the CD then rips the shit out of it, the sound of the studio etc. Rips Steve A, the vocals.............. But he loves JSS and the chemistry that they share.

Sammy will be their next lead singer!!!!
