You are going to sit here and tell me Jeremey is more powerful than Jeff? That is simply a lie.

Mercury was more powerful than Perry, that doesn't necessarily mean he was better, does it?

Uhhh...and you would be wrong about that.

Mercury was a GREAT showman and excellent vocalist (better vocally in the studio than on stage)...but, Perry was ridiculously talented and had an AMAZING range and power both in the studio and on stage.

NOBODY has ever recreated their studio voice "live" better than SP.

That's a fact.

Um,,, I think JSS has recreated his studio voice live better . Check out Talisman's Five Men Live!

BZZZZT! Thanks for playing.

To this day, Dennis DeYoung still sings his songs in the same key. In his prime hit hit every high and low. So SP wasn't the only one.

Dennis DeYoung's voice is still amazing. He has lost nothing, and I do have to agree, Dennis sounds exactly the same as he did when first recorded songs like "Lady" or "The Best of Times." However, my overall pick of course is Steve Perry.

I think Dennis actually sounds better NOW. Back in the day, his voice sometimes had a certain annoying sound to it. It's hard to describe but it was almost like a Geddy Lee-type thing in his voice at times. He sounds smoother now. The guy looks like a 70 year-old granpda, though, but more power to him if he can still do the tunes in the original key.

He actually mentions something about the grandfather look onstage. I also just saw 64 year old Ronnie James Dio with Black Sabbath (sure "Heaven and Hell" ) Amazing!

Everybody knows how much I hate that sailor topped fucker, just makes me feel sick when he's mentioned. Stick him on a ship, playing to the 60+ and be done with him or send him to Ted Nugents ranch

Ed, the rest of Styx have always been cool, DDY was like Andy fuckin Williams (boring).....best thing that ever happened to Styx was his departure..now they're a fuckin' great rock band without the slushy shit. He's very much like Cain in the stage dressing code, they both haven't a fuckin' clue how to look cool

Fuck no, don't go over there. There's one person on there that hounded me for months, whenever I said a bad word about DDY, that's why I never go there and made my home in Journeyland.....it's more fun here

Up pops DDY with his trousers nearly up to his chest and a striped sailor top on....the concert footage is out there for all to see. I just cringed at that sight

nice voice

The guy can definitely sing! He should not let himself be a pawn in the Neal alimony fund. I still prefer Tony Mills from Shy because he is a Pro singer. As for the Elemental stuff Jeremy sounds good. The guitar player on that Elemental stuff is laughable! What a slopfest! Journey should just go away at this point. They have rendered themselves irrevelant with their poor decisions, first to burn out Steve Augeri, the one who kept Neal,Jon and Ross's cash flow going for 8 years and then to throw out JSS like a soiled dishrag. As a long time personal friend of Steve A. I was pissed at what happened to him, and as a long time JSS fan since the Malmsteen, Kuni days I knew it would never work
