The removal of JSS and the way it was handled really made me re-evaluate and rethink what has gone on with Journey since 1997. There have been so many empty promises and half-assed moves made by Journey since then. So now I feel, why bother with them?

From what I've read from FANS, JSS was lauded in the job he did, and now he's fired because they're worried about the past catalog?

Journey is afraid of change. Change in their wallets that is.

EXACTLY. So, why were we not talking about this a year ago? It took Journey offering you all a saucer of milk, and you guys lapping it up like it was the best thing since the Infinity album, and then having Journey take it away from you. Only THEN do you realize what has been obvious to me for at least two years.

NOW you say they are not 'honest and credible people any more'. They were not those things A YEAR AGO, when all of this started.

It seems to me that they are only 'honest and credible' for SOME of you when their decisions (or lies) agreed with what you wanted. To hell with the fact they promised an album almost every year since Perry left the band. To hell with the fact that they promised DVD's of various concerts, and even talked about a DVD box set. To hell with the 'concept album' Neal wanted to do. To hell with the hype of 'special guests' on tour. THIS TIME they are telling the truth about an album with JSS and blah, blah, blah. I guess it is so easy to be naive when someone who isn't honest or credible offers you what you want.

Because everyone was buzzing about Journey’s rampant use of taped vocals instead.
Something that, for all your seemingly infallible wisdom, you had no fucking clue about.
So tell us, Paul Revere, where were you then to awaken the somnolent masses and toll the bell of Journeys infinite demise?

For a time, Jeff and Neal were genuinely excited about Journey’s future.
Whatever went down, (and I’m not at all convinced it has anything to do with a “sonic direction”), that feeling of creative rejuvenation was real.
Real enough for the guys to have recording equipment brought on tour and do some writing.
Pathetic when compared to the overflowing potential this lineup brimmed with, but nothing to scoff off at when you realize a few pre-JSS weeks earlier the band was at its lowest point ever.

Most fans realized this about Jon and Neal years ago.
And if they didn’t, the Herbie interview should have left little doubt.

Your powers of clairvoyance fail to impress.
Time for another career change.
Might I suggest humbly asking for your job back as resident cum scrapper at the truck stop porn shop?
It never sat right with me how they found licking the plexiglass of the quarter peep booths a legitimate reason to terminate your successful 43-year working relationship.
