Nice! I'm going to have to fire up iTunes and download this.

You guys are making me want to start playing music again. My old guitarist keeps bringing up the possibility of starting a little three man band and playing some of the many originals we've written over the years. It would mostly be a weekend thing that we would do for fun, being as we're both married with children. But seeing what a lot of musicians have done with myspace.com and iTunes, we could record some of them and put them up for others to hear.

Pelata, do you have a contract? And if not, how do you get your stuff up on iTunes? Thanks.

Hey Todd - THANKS!!!!!! You should go for it!!

All 3 of us in LINE OF FIRE are married, kids, jobs, the whole enchilada.

We're signed to Tribunal Records...their distribution channels got us on iTunes.

We're not a "working band" either. We're a studio/vanity project. We all love the style we play in LOF & wanted to do it...so, we did it. We're fortunate enough to have studio equipment at our disposal, & Tribunal ties up the lose ends.

MySpace is a bona-fide MIRACLE for indie bands/musicians...you just have to know how to use it and don't be afraid to add people...we've gotten 30,000+ plays in 2 years alone...not bad for a band that's never played a show (not for lack of trying, I might add)...

Hey man...thanks! Glad you like the stuff.

As of now, we are not a live band. We tried once, but it was a dauntiung task trying to recreate the record live...if we can't do it right, we won't do it.

We're making a second album now...we'll see what happens afterwards.

Thanks again!!!

God I wish I had access to a studio. Right now I'm just laying down some basic tracks with Garageband. I'm probably going to start fooling around with ProTools eventually. Hopefully we can get some decent recordings out of it. That is, if we can ever find a drummer.

I'm definitely going to check out myspace.com. Thanks Pelata. You've shown me that even us married working guys can still rock with the best of them. :)

Considering how some certain bands are dumping on
their fans I would be only to happy to sink my money
into good sounding music that is being made by less known
groups........ :D

Just a question.

Which makes you more money...buying the album off of iTunes or buying an actual CD? I want to purchase your album but want you to make as much as possible. I like to support independent music as much as I can.

Whichever way is most convenient for you, bro! We don't make a living off of this anyway, so it's not like we're grubbing for every penny. We're just happy that there are people who like the music...

So, iTunes, or straight from our label Tribunal Records, or The End Records, or VH1.com, or CircuitCity.com, or whatever makes it easiest on you.

NOTE - Tribunal Mailorder is probably going to be slow between now & August while the owner is on tour with his own band...so one of the others may be quicker. Of course, iTunes is the fastest...

We're in the planning stages now. It could be a while though. We have a lot of equipment to buy, especially me. I sold all of my bass gear years ago. I'm sure the wife is going to love it when I tell her I need to buy all of this stuff, especially with a baby on the way.
