Not from the clips. He's a good Perry clone and I wish him luck...but he's not the second coming or anything....

I have never seen more people try to convince those who are not onboard with Jeremey that he is the answer. Geeesh. You know I could take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed but then all you'd have is a guaranteed piece of shit.

Please stop hard selling Jeremey. If he is that good then he can sell himself on his own merits.

While I agree that Jeremey is a nice guy, I can't see myself putting more money into Neal and Jon's bank account by seeing them live. They've burned that bridge when they treated Jeff the way they did.

Ditto :(

Yes I agree, but let me tell you something, after I saw that link to Jeremey the impersonator, I am convinced that it is just his PR machjne at work with
all this speculation about him being the new singer for Journey. I think it is all wishful thinking, and nothing concrete

I think Jeremey is a nice guy and all, but in reality he's just a copycat singer. He doesn't really have a distinct vocal style of his own. He just tries to copy Steve Perry's vocal style. That's fine if all you want to do is play Journey songs in a tribute band, but Jeremey will never be respected or taken seriously as a unique talent because everything he does is an imitation of someone else. Jeff Scott Soto on the other hand is a real artist with his own unique style. He could have helped Journey step out from under Steve Perry's shadow a little bit. He's a respected professional in the music industry and Jeremey is not. I don't mean any disrespect to Jeremey, but that's just how it is. It's about integrity and credibility for me. So no, I'm not supporting a Jeremey Hunsicker fronted Journey. It's completely ridiculous.

I support Jeremey. But not Journey anymore.

Dude! Don't sign! If you must sign, be very careful WHAT you sign!

Great point Erik. I agree BUT that being said, the reality is that, after having gone through 2 singers since Perry, Journey is still a nostalgia band. I personally think that Neal and Jon have come to accept that they won't break out of that label at this point and that they are going to just try to "milk the band's legacy" for everything it is worth for another 2-3 years. The problem has been and still is that NO ONE has been able to or will be able to outshine the Perry vocal imprint on this band's success and legacy. Jeremey won't be able to do so either but he could make some of the best money of his life for a few years. All accounts say it would take an act of God to bring Perry back at this point. I personally think that he is such a perfectionist that he feels his voice doesn't measure up to HIS expectations and thus he won't return in Journey or solo. IF he did return to Journey by some miracle, they would have a CASH COW for a large arena world tour, and if they did an album, IMO in light of the current still rap-crap hip hop generation music buying environment, the album would do better than with Augeri but nothing close to Journey in it's hay-day.

While I think Jeremey is a good singer, I am not of the opinion that his live vocals are worthy of fronting Journey.

I am also of the opinion that his stage presence is not good enough to front Journey.

Combine that with the fact that I have lost all respect for Schon & Cain as human beings.

Result? I am done supporting Journey after nearly 25 years.

I own all of the CD's, and I will enjoy Journey music into the future by listening to them.

Even that is tainted now....while Schon is a world class guitarist, and he and Cain are great writers (and Cain is a decent keyboard player), I listen to the music while thinking, "Too bad such great talents are such low class people."

That ruins it a bit.
Journey (Schon/Cain): great musicans, pathetic human beings

It amazes and appalls me that people who supported Augeri are doubting, if not downing, Jeremey. He's twice, or maybe three times the singer and showman Augeri was.
