It'll never happen because the guys know it wouldn't make any money.

Anyway, if I had to do it, it would go as follows:

Remember Me
Higher Place
Livin' to Do
World Gone Wild
With Your Love
To Be Alive Again
The Time
Walkin' Away From the Edge
Faith in the Heartland
The Place in Your Heart
A Better Life
Never Too Late

Hmmmmm...I don't know. Could they sell a full-priced CD with just 4 songs on it?

Tough to get a full "Hits" album from 2 1/2 CDs, but here's my version:

Remember Me
Higher Place
Loved By You
I Got A Reason
Lifetime Of Dreams
To Be Alive Again
We Will Meet Again
Walking Away From The Edge
The Place In Your Heart
A Better Life
Never Too Late

You couldn't call it "Greatest Hits" though, since they never had any hits with Steve A. Maybe "Best Of...1998-2005" or something.

a) Arrival & Generations were on different labels; so songs couldn't be released on the same disc.

b) Who the hell would want this?

As it is, there was absolutely NO reason for "Remember Me", "Higher Place" or even "All the Way" to be omitted from the Essentials collection.

Yet somehow, against the better judgement of all upright, tool-making mankind, "Baby I'm a Leavin You", an overblown jingle for a jamaican jerk chicken fast food restaraunt, somehow made the cut.
Go figure.

A greatest hits album kind of requires there to be at least one hit in the first place. Augeri era Journey didn't have a one. (don't flame me for that, be realistic people. Arrival barely had any airplay and the airplay it did get was insanely short lived)

For those reasons, no record label would put up the funds to press CD's of a post Perry greatest hits album. At the most, I could see the Journey website compile some kind of "burn it yourself" version via iTunes, but I doubt that will happen.

Now if you're asking for a diehard fan's wish list from those who continued to follow Journey after Perry's "departure" (sorry couldn't resist), then I guess you'll be sourcing your compilation of favorites from the fans on this board and average out the songs with the most votes, yes?

My vote would be:
We Will Meet Again
Live and Breathe
Higher Place
The Place in Your Heart
Faith in the Heartland
Butterfly
Never Too Late
Better Life
I can Breathe
Time
Walkin' away from the edge

Wow, unlike most, I just realized I like Red13 the best out of all 3 albums, lol...
