Is the fact that it's 25 years old BAD? Look...in all this hand-wringing and flouncing around about JSS let's not forget that all he did in this band was sing 25 year old songs. Journey is ALL ABOUT those 25 year old songs and this has been the case for years and years now. Journey peaked in the 1980s. Get over it.

Unfortunately they aren't in the UK

Jeff also sang Higher Place, Faith in the Heartland, and Winds of Freedom which by my count are not 25 years old.![]()
He was pushing the band into BEING a band again - they couldn't hack it.

Didn't Augeri do "Rubicon" a few times? I think I have at least 2 or three boots with him doing that song.

However if you haven't got a credible band to go and tour on the back of new found interest, this firework will soon burn out.

Yes. As far as I am concerned, rehashing 25 year old songs is not anything to get excited over. I was looking forward to NEW music from Journey. I was looking forward to a NEW sound with a NEW singer who was not Perry or one of his many clones. I was hoping for something fresh. Instead of trying to be a real band, they are more interested in sounding exactly like they did 25 years ago. If I want that, I have the Cds to listen to. I do not need some watered down version of a once great band.
