"The NEW Journey" I would pay to see

Postby fanofjourney1 » Fri Jun 22, 2007 11:44 pm

I would rather see EVOLUTION then the real Journey (www.journeyshow.com), I am not an ultra fan, but I love the Steve Perry Journey from the 80's.
When I went to the Evolution show at the Canal Room in NYC in April, I was so excited when Hugo came onto the stage that it brought me back to when I was a teenager, and the music was spot on. Even the guitar player, Adam Holland, resembled Neal Schon and the bass player, Les Jansson, looks like Ross Valory.
For the average fan that show was unbelievable!! Looking forward to seeing them when ever I can.

Who needs to deal with all the junk from the real Journey, when you could see Evolution

So, are you the keyboard player or drummer for Evolution?

Except for the physical resemblance comparisons that's exactly how I felt about Frontiers when Augeri was with Journey. They were both just covering the Journey material and I liked Jeremey better, so why go see Journey when Frontiers was often just few miles away.

I know, I have not seen Frontiers, so I don't know how good they are and would like to see them Live, do they play NYC at all?

If you ever get a chance to see Evolution live, the video does not do them justice, you would become an Evolution fan also.

That's cool - just breaking your balls a bit. I was very impressed with what I saw of them online too. Radio DJs Opie and Anthony used to push them big time a few years back. Anthony's brother, Joe, used to play with them (I think he played guitar).

I just think that Hugo painted himself too much as a tribute impersonator to be seriously considered for a Journey frontman.

You know something, I would not want him to be in Journey, I would rather see him in Evolution.

I was going to say what a pathetic post, but might as well get used to em. Journey is a tribute band now.

It's all about the travel time isn't Sherrie? Whomever is closer, you go see.

Pathetic thread. Pathetic situation, and a pathetic band.

Wow, didn't realize how rude and aggresive this board is, I was just making a statement, this is my first time on this site.
With people like you posting I see why there are onlr 20 - 30 people involved in discussions.

Sound like he is not very bright or mature, and knows nothing about the music business, just likes to see his own posts
