ABOUT THAT "BT KINDA GUY" THING.....

Postby Món » Sun Jun 24, 2007 3:46 am

...I never was one.

I've always tried to get my opinion across in the most respectful manner over there, with no results whatsoever.

I've always disagreed on SA's dismissal in the first place. I thought it was betrayal in its purest form to kick out a band member who gave the band his 100% for 8 great years.

Now that Jeff (who I never liked as Journey's front man, eventhough he's a great performer) had to taste the same crow, they had to shut the place down, knowing that even the most dedicated ass-kissers would turn their backs on them.

But even these things are for the better, I believe. I think la creme de la creme of Journey fans are here, and are willing to discuss their favorite band for better or worse.

That's why I signed up. :)

Maybe i didnt explain myself well,,,, i found that forum first and signed up - but i never felt like i belonged (like Perry?) and felt if you were not praising Augeri to the high heavens that you were treated like you were not a real Journey fan. Its much more honest and refreshing here. I never reallyliked the band with Augeri but i sure as hell did with Jeff.

You are absolutely right my friend - and all respect to you for pointing it out. Regardless of who we liked and disliked etc - it won't turn into the crap that happened over there. Have a good evening - i'm away out for a curry and a few beers with the better half (she doesnt even think Journey are that great with ANY singer-philistine!!).

That's why I'm here. But sadly, there's no forum to discuss Beau Coup (the one hit wonders from the 80's). So I'm stuck telling the BOYS how much they fucked up a good thing (again).
