Wow! What the heck is going on? Journey's next move...

Postby Lebronfan » Sun Jun 24, 2007 5:55 am

I've been a fan of JSS for a long time, even got a kick out of his Skrapp Mettle project. I always have loved Journey. When I heard JSS joined Journey it raised my eye-brows. Then I saw them live and I was blown away. Then I heard Journey gave JSS the boot! and they are considering a cover band singer to replace him. Are they nuts!!! Why would you replace a world class singer with a cover guy? The only way JSS goes is if SP comes back.

What Journey should do to save the band is BEG SP to come back for a final tour. Offer him the world, call it Journey featuring Steve Perry, and just remind SP the world did not get to see them back in the mid-90's when they reunited. If SP can only do a limited amount of shows because of whatever, just do select cities. This is for the fans! Then both parties can go seperate ways. How else can Journey save themselves from their self-dustructive ways??

What a shame....

Yeah, I saw what SP said. However stranger things have happen in the music biz. Should SP get the urge to do a major tour again Journey would be his best bet for success. I can only hope that he wants to make things right from the mid-90's reunion project and this time tour. It doesn't have to be a long term thing.

I'm so pissed at Journey I don't know if I would go see them again even IF Steve Perry returned.

Me too, I would rather him do something on his own. He doesn't need to associate himself with people like those.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I'd go see them just to see him, but I'd really rather he not stoop that low. He doesn't need them, but they sure as hell need him and I'm lovin' that they've proven yet again that they're not worth of him.

What pisses me off is, I NEVER SAW SP with JOURNEY!!!

I'd HAVE to go. Gaah. I'd shoot myself if I didn't see SP. Here's to a solo release, Steve!

That's too bad Kate, he was fantastic. Well, I guess you've seen the Houston DVD, so you know how good he was with Journey.

Doing real good. I'm kind of on vacation myself. I know those last two days of vacation are kind of sad. You hate to see it coming to an end. Sounds like you had a good time though. Did y'all take some pichers? That's Texas drawl for pictures. :D

Well put a couple up over at Ed's place. I'm working on a real thick Oklahoma/Texas drawl for y'all in October.

He won't. Why in the hell would he RIGHT NOW. I know, there are/could be reasons, but you know what I mean. He hasn't all this time and he's gonna' join the train wreck now. Yeah right.
I too want to see him, but doing OTHER things.

Geez, sorry I left the "y" off of worthy.

You're absolutely right. Why the hell would he try to save Neal after what Neal did to him and then still had no more honor than to stab his own friend Jeff in the back?
