I believe that many of the posts in the last >2 weeks were saying just that. Karma's a bitch. The BOYS need to know this. They weren't man enough to keep their own site up through this, and continue to be so arrogant towards the people who made them all their money. And we're rightfully so, voicing our disdain for what's left of a once great band. Many of us let things slide on more than one occasion, and that's our fault in some way. Because they have taken us for granted, and assumed that because people in a certain place blindly supported them, that everyone else would too.

I really had to laugh at that...BT wasn't the only place that was 'blindly' supporting Journey. Fans on other forums also refused to see Journey's history of how they treated their fans...and followed the band into the abys. As for taking down their website, that is the only thing the band CAN control. I'm sure they assumed that it would go on and on and on in other forums.

Here, Arenas are enclosed places to play basketball or hockey games, typically holding 10,000 to 30,000 people. Stadiums are places to play football and can be open or closed in typically holding between 40,000 and 100,000 people.

That's the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, which holds over 100,000 people. You notice they cut off one end of it, but also opened up the field. My guess, 80,000 people for this show.

Yep,I can confirm the 80.000 figure,Mike Hausmann told me the story of that show.He was there and it was MAJESTIC.
Journey worked that stadium to death.

He also said the sound-check was really cool,they came out in casual clothes,did a couple songs,dissapeared in their dressing rooms where no one was allowed,and came out later for the show all puffed up looking like true rock stars.A perfect show,just like all of them were back then.

Wish I could've seen that...I can only imagine the beauty of it all.
