POL- Roaring of Dreams

I got my copy today and after listening a couple of times I believe the Pride of Lions have a winner.

So far my favorite songs are

"Heaven on Earth"
"Faithful Heart"
'Secret of the Way"

I can't wait for this album to sink in, I believe it is their strongest album to date.

I have been listening to this for about 3 weeks,it is an absolute masterpiece of an album,their best by far for sure.

I´m still waiting for my copy, hoping to get it next week. Nice to see it´s getting good reviews everywhere. But it´s always hard to break newer band, especially AOR fans tend to concentrate only on their old favourites so it´s tough task to get their attention if you´re not old established name even if you have famous person in line-up like with POL

Man I can tell u this album is the way its got be! ... Wonderful songwriting, great harmonys ... their third one - it's the Best! This album makes me feel great!

Can´t help but compare this new release with latest Survivor album. POL wins on production field, performance is vastly better and even our old hero Jamison loses battle with Toby. Which one has better song material is hard to say, it needs more time perspective. I think in right circumstances “Reach” could have been much better than it turned out as there is nothing wrong with song material itself. But judging by these two releases I must say at the moment POL is making better Survivor-music than Frankie & co. My favourite songs on this new POL album are energetic opener “Heaven on earth” and surprisingly “Tall ships”. I know many of you will think “what the f…?!” when hearing those french horn sounds first time, even I was, but I can tell you that already at the second listen it sounds just right, This only shows that when you´re professional musician like Jim you can put strange stuff like this on your album and succeed with it. All we need now is that some AOR big name band would take these guys on tour with them so more people would be exposed to this great music.

It doesn't even come close...JP blows away Solo Sullivan these days. He enjoys having collborators, whereas Solo took 20 years to deliver us a piece of crap.

Any fan of Survivor / POL / Night Ranger should do ANYTHING to track down any King of Hearts album out there.

For all who understand German, there's a new interwiev with Jim Peterik about the album.
One question is how they came to the idea with the two lead-singers. Peterik answered that he wanted to do this with Survivor (he wanted to share with Dave Bickler), but Frankie had another meaning and he forced his point.

Haven't got the new cd yet, but I will say that the first two are good. Listened to the first one yesterday. Only one song on the cd I don't like and that is Prideland.-ERIC

I have bought the record two weeks ago (Of course I knew the 1-minute samples).
So far it's really a great album for me. Maybe not a milestone in rock, but one of the best I know for a long time - with good up-tempo songs (like Heaven on earth, Language of the heart, Defying gravity) and good ballads. And it's a powerful production - this is in fact what you can miss a bit on "Reach"...

It´s a good Album for sure, much better than the earlier Album Destiny Stone.
