Is Perry just on that one cover version? Or is he on other tracks too?

Also - it's a song that's often conveniently forgotten when people claim that TBF is for wimps. It was actually Journey's heaviest tune since Edge of the Blade wasn't it?

Yup....that's EXACTLY what I'm saying....

In the original, Steve sounds like he's "checking his wristwatch" ~ wondering when the session will be over.

No. There are at least two other songs on TBF that are heavier than that one.

I'll probably just buy the song - I'm not sure if I like their sound.

Did you guys get the Rock-n-Roll Soldiers song SP co-wrote last year? I like it, but it had to grow on me...and, I think knowing the unusual lyrics are co-written by SP makes it more intriguing. I think the song would scare me otherwise. :shock: :lol:

Oh,yes,the clear quality of the studio recording will be a treat!
That radio broadcast "blurred" a lot of the inflexions and nuances of SP's singing voice.The sample on cduniverse sounds SO much better. 8)
