Also - it's a song that's often conveniently forgotten when people claim that TBF is for wimps. It was actually Journey's heaviest tune since Edge of the Blade wasn't it?

Then why was it the "bonus track" and the rest of TBF be so lame?

I don't mind a few ballads, but Journey should set a limit of like, 3 ballads per album.

Let me type this for the gazillionth time, since not everyone has read this throughout the years.....
The band did NOT have the final say on which songs were going on TBF. The label always thought Journey's formula for success was THE BALLAD, so they put more ballads on TBF. I read this either from Kalodner's site or Kevin Shirley's site years ago.

Very Nice Review!

"How cool would it be for your band to be asked by none other than Steve Perry of Journey fame to cover an unreleased song by that awesome pop band? Well that happened to Guff as Mr. Perry stumbled into the group as they were recording “Symphony of Voices”. Well their cover of “I Can See It In Your Eyes” is far-reaching melodic indie pop-punk rock and damn addictive—as is the rest of the album. Guff is chock full of infectious vocal harmonies and creative song structures."

I have the individual song, that's enough for me. No need to buy the whole CD. Green Day, Blink 182, Sum 41, not my kind of music. I dare not even call it that, but it's slightly better than (c)RAP is.

Just listened to the tune (the broadcasted one) to refresh my memory and damn! SP was on fire! From the way he sang his parts I could feel he really enjoyed it.
Actually, this songs is something that really cheers me up in this disappointing current Journey era.

Can't wait to turn it up in clear surround sound and hear the neighborhood bitching and moaning!

Wondering, too. maybe it won't be. I just listened to the original on TBF, maybe I'll just stick with that one if I can't buy it individually. (remember them good ole days of buying 45s?)
