Also - it's a song that's often conveniently forgotten when people claim that TBF is for wimps. It was actually Journey's heaviest tune since Edge of the Blade wasn't it?

Then why was it the "bonus track" and the rest of TBF be so lame?

I don't mind a few ballads, but Journey should set a limit of like, 3 ballads per album.

Let me type this for the gazillionth time, since not everyone has read this throughout the years.....
The band did NOT have the final say on which songs were going on TBF. The label always thought Journey's formula for success was THE BALLAD, so they put more ballads on TBF. I read this either from Kalodner's site or Kevin Shirley's site years ago.

Just listened to the tune (the broadcasted one) to refresh my memory and damn! SP was on fire! From the way he sang his parts I could feel he really enjoyed it.
Actually,this songs is something that really cheers me up in this disappointing current Journey era.

Can't wait to turn it up in clear surround sound and hear the neighborhood bitching and moaning!
